1.
I have the ability to sample rate convert the standalone recorded audio to 48 kHz from 44.1...should I do this ? Is Multicam's Audio analysis sync doing this on the fly anyway, even if I don't ?
I can not says it, I think so I rarely use MULTICAN, I usually add audio with 44 and 48 on the timeline smoothly, sometimes I use AudioDirector to make corrections if necessary.
2. In what order should I do the video trimming, adding titles, audio analysis sync/record ?
I would start by making audio analysis sync, if you have two or more audio tracks or video with audio on it.
3. Would it be better if I produced the video and audio as a single long file rather than 2 concert halves, then edited this large file afterwards ?
Depending on the complexity of your project, do 2 projects, If want you can join the two projects in one, use the insert project option to add the project 2, so you can save in a single video file.
4. Is audio analysis sync able to operate if the camera audio and standalone audio are of different lengths (ie there might be 10 mins of disparity between them if I stopped the audio recorder but allowed the video camera to continue recording through the interval break of the concert ?
Yes I have done it perfectly, the audio needs to be well readable and be of the same program.
5. Is Power Director able to do the 3.99GB file stitching/combining/joining or do I need to continue using the Panasonic HD Writer file import software ?
There are reports here in the forum that PD leaves gaps in the joint.

Here your project works perfectly, saving in H264-AVC or MP4 1280x720 - 60P also in 1920x1080 60P
Maybe you need to install Encoder / Decoder package.

What am i doing wrong , if i produce any file into an avi , it plays like it is overexposed like washed out when using Windows media player.
You do not tell us what type and size of the original video.
Also that size and quality this saving your video.
The Windows Media format (WMV) is native to Windows, MP4 as well.
If possible choose size HD or FullHD and higher bitrate, depending on the original video.

[Quote = Nickr57] Sim, eu sei sobre os 4/3 e 16/9 diferenças, problema é que os downloads não mostrar em qualquer lugar PowerDirector em todos os ... Onde é que a pasta de download estar localizado? [/ Quote]
Within PD13 is like Carl312 showed very well.
If you want to know the physical location that is installed effect.
This is the default location, C:\Users\Public\CyberLink\Downloaded Effects
Select the folder corresponding to the type of effect
note:
Downloaded effects DirectorZone is stored in your default download folder configured in your browser.
|
|
Look for this purpose installed in the corresponding room.
Note that have specific effects for 16x9 and 4x3 aspect ratio.
By name use, search the library

Here I prefer to make photo slide manually, so I have control over the movement and zoom.
I select a group of photos (or all) on the line, Magic Tool button / Magic Motion / User Defined.
Adjust to a photo that will be applied the same for all selected photos.

I am splitting clips on my timeline, and when I do so, sometimes it also also splits the music track, and sometimes it doesn't. I don't want to do that, I want the music track to be intact. How can Ibe sure that when I split clips I do not also split the music track, or for that matter, any other clips that might be on other tracks?
The split can be applied only to one or more clip's selected.
If you have nothing selected the Split is applied to all that is aligned vertically.
Use the padlock Track, to keep its content unchanged.
In case the audio from a video, use the lock audio track.
You can also lock to any track.

Yes complete PD will open your projects created in PD trial.
And can remove the Cyberlink brand.
As the quality of the preview in editing, you can use the highest put the issue becomes very slow.

Importação de DVD; falha entre VOB
I do not know if it is exactly your case.
Here I always had a small crash at the junction of VOB files.
The solution for me, use DVD Shrink to rip (copy) the DVD to a folder on your PC.
In preferences I uncheck the box, Split vob files into 1 Gb size ...
So I always have a single file for editing
note:
In PD13 whenever possible use Intelligent SVRT, so the same quality as the original DVD and kept in my project.

I think we are at cross purposes, I'm probably not explaining well. I am trying save one clip to a file. I am using product range to do this, so I have to use the scrubber according to optdata.
You can mark the start and end position, Split or adding a marker (right clik the ruler / Add Timeline Marker)
It should also extends the timeline for accuracy, use the button Next Frame to skip frame by frame.
Note: Using time markers, selecting with yellow sliding slowly over the marker, it stops in the correct position, going right or left. |
|
|
Adding to that Longedge showed.
You can move video / audio and FX ranges in the left column click and hold and drag the track you want to move, up or down.
Tracks Text, Voice and Music does not move.
Note: The range voice can not be moved.
If so just move the audio, which can overlap the other audio you do not want
|
|
Basic settings such as volume of the entire track and normalize, you do directly in the timeline using the audio control room.
As normalize levels between all clip audio the selected track, volume range, set to the optimum level, if necessary.
Note: You can add (import) any video clip's in AudioEditor, make adjustments and save it to one single audio file.
|
|
Select the part you want to save as a clip, use the yellow slide, the part should be yellowish, Produce Range button, save the clip in a folder, to return to editing, automatically the clip will show in the media library room.
Note: In produce, use Intelligent SVRT if possible to avoid the video recoding.

ynotfish led the way.
PD13 does not allow select multiple clips and open the AudioEditor or WaveEditor.
The way I'd do in your case.
1 - Apply normalize all the clips.
2 - Produce, only the audio (all clips in a single audio file).
3 - Add this new audio in the timeline, in another band.
4 - Turn off the original audio track.
5 - Select the track with the new audio and open the Audio Editor.
Option:
You can add (import) any video clip's in AudioEditor, make adjustments and save it as one single audio file.

roarb (..and missing audio When reopening the project) |
I do not know if it has any relationship with your problem.
Here reduce the audio vomule per track below 50, save the project.
When opening the project the volume track was to zero.
I already reported this here, no one manifested think it's just me.

In PD13 has some options to facilitate editing.
When you insert a clip to the project and given the options.
To avoid dividing files into another band use padlock.
See the image, compare with PD11.
|
|
Check the settings, see image.
|
|
After making what Carl312 recommended. If still showing 4X3 aspect ratio. On the timeline, click to the right on the VOB file and select, Set Clip Atributes / Set Aspect Ratio ...see image
|
|
PD (v 2907.1) Sometimes this slow editing in the timeline.
I noticed in the settings Harware Decoding box was disabled, gray most of the time or not.
I need to close and reopen PD, enable HD to return to normal.
|
|
Note that should give one click on the clip to select it.
A hand appears, click, hold and drag to the new position.
If you still have trouble, try another mouse.
|
|
Pack Project and materials, save all this on the PD timeline.
Videos, audio and all purposes, depending on the project folder is large.
If you have used in your project files (videos) that is present in desktop will be copied as well.
