Hi,

This error usually happens because a driver or firmware needs to be updated. It has little to do with Power2Go, but rather with Windows or your devices.

Try updating your graphics card drivers, and also your drive firmware. You can see this post for more info:

Hi,

There is no file search on your computer. You can just browse to the file via the My Computer tab on the left side of the window.

Dave
Hi,
This happens because YouTube updates its API key, usually for videos from Vevo, etc. that rely heavily on advertising. You'll have to wait for another update for version 19 to get the new API key.

Dave
There has been an update on this. Simply move the mouse to the left or right side of the window when in full screen mode to hide the playback controls. If you are talking about the OSD, the hotkey is "D".

Updating your GPU driver is always a good idea too.

Dave
No, you can't burn/create Ultra HD Blurays in Power2go or any other CL software. None of the big video editors do, because most people just use video files now I guess.

Dave
You can find the list in the help file here:

https://help.cyberlink.com/stat/help/screenrecorder/4/enu/index.html?04_00_00_vo.html

It accepts all the major formats, including PNG which can contain transparency I am sure. You never specified what format the images you are using, so not sure what the issue would be. Maybe share one of your rejected images by attaching it here if you're okay with that so we can test.

No I never said I got it recently. It is a bought version.

Then you simply need to contact CyberLink about your issue. This is a user's forum...no support here:

https://membership.cyberlink.com/support/customer-services.do

I did find this FAQ though: https://www.cyberlink.com/support/faq-content.do?id=6704

Dave
You recently bought PowerDVD 12? Where did you purchase it from? CL doesn't retail sell that version anymore, so you should probably be asking where you got it from.

Dave
No it's not. You can just change the capture resolution. What are you trying to do with YouCam? Record your desktop? If yes, your better bet is Screen Recorder, which provides a lot more customizable features.

Dave
I think you will have to go into each app's settings and set it yourself. I don't think there is a Windows setting that will do this for all third party programs.

Dave
Power2Go 8 came out about 10 years ago I think, so I am not sure it actually supports Windows 10. You should probably contact ASUS and ask them, since that is where you got the software from. It may be a special OEM version that supports Win10:

https://www.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1011692/

Also, what is your screen resolution. Power2Go 8 probably doesn't support High DPI if that is enabled.

Dave
Hi,

To burn a saved disc image, you need to select Copy Disc > Burn Disc Image.

The default location for the saved disc image is:

C:\Users\Your_Name\Documents\Image.p2i

So check there. Replace "Your_Name" with the Windows user name for your computer.

Dave
We need more info about your setup, so please: https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/79023.page#post_box_324623 as requested.

You should also make sure you submit a tech support ticket.

Dave
Hi,

Just go into Settings > Preferences > Media Library and remove all the folders indicated on the four tabs. If you have any folders selected on these tabs, Powerdvd checks for newly added files every time you launch.

Dave
Well, it is tough to help when you didn't supply any of the requested information. Though what you describe definitely sounds like a GPU issue. Have you updated it recently? I actually got a fresh update on my NVIDIA driver just today.

Dave
Quote Don't know if anyone can help, trying to get a copy of powerdvd13 ultra? Purchased years ago and have product key however after a pc update it is missing from my laptop. Trying to find a copy to reinstall so my 6 year old can use to watch bluray dvds.
Can not contact support as it says I need an SR number but I can not find this as it is no onger on my laptop.

Any ideas

Sounds like you're saying it came with your laptop? You should check the discs that came with the laptop, as there should be a copy in there. If not, contact the laptop manufacturer and ask for a new copy.

That is probably your only avenue, as the other would be CL support, but you said that didn't work.

Dave
I'm not sure which grey textbox you are referring to, but quite sure there is no preference to adjust specific on screen control transparency. You might want to report it to cyberlink...maybe it's a bug.

Quote Sometimes I have to stop playing a DVD in the middle and eject it with the intent to play it later from the beginning. However, when I put the DVD back in the computer's DVD drive, it always starts playing from where I had stopped it. How do I play it from the beginning?

Another question. Every time I play a movie, PowerDVD saves many fils about it in the Document folder on my Windows 8 computer. How do I stop it?

I could not find the version of the Lenovo PowerDVD on my computer that I an share with you.

I'm not sure what version you have, but in PowerDVD's General player settings, there is the "Auto-Resume setting". Here you can choose what happens when you put a DVD into your disc drive.

Dave
I don't think you can turn these processes off unfortunately.

Dave
According to the help, overlays are text or images only:

Dave
No, PowerDVD doesn't support Dolby Vision. It has been talked about before:
