It's working for me. I just start a YouTube live stream with Screen Recorder 4.

Do you have the latest patch installed: https://www.cyberlink.com/support/screen-recorder/patches_en_US.html

I would reinstall if it persists.

Dave
Quote It shows running in Task Manager but the window does not open ... ?

I am guessing you mean the Power2Go splash screen? Can you try restarting Windows and then trying to launch Power2Go again? If that doesn't work, try reinstalling the software.

Dave
A simple search would have found the answer. It is even in the forum FAQ:

Dave
I was able to fix it by downloading a webcam driver from the ASUS web site and installing it. I used this as a reference:

https://appuals.com/fix-asus-camera-is-upside-down-in-windows-10/

Your PC is different (not an ASUS), so you must go to the web site for your computer's manufacturer and download and install a webcam driver.

Dave
I actually have YouCam 8 as well (I don't use it much) and I just installed it on my older laptop that has a similar webcam on Windows 10. I got the exact same result! But I think it is related to the webcam driver under Windows 10.

I also noticed the image is upside down in the Windows Camera app. Can you try opening that and see if your webcam image is upside down in it as well. Just select Camera from the Windows start menu.

In the meantime, I will look for a driver solution

Dave
No, I don't think so. And I wouldn't hold my breath that it will be in the next version, as it seems like 3D is being phased out again.

Dave
Adding to this, Power2Go pulls the song information from the Internet (it is not on the disc), so you must be connected to retrieve it. If you are connected and it is no longer working for you for commercial CDs, check if Power2Go is being blocked from retrieving the info, i.e. blocked by a firewall, etc.

Dave
There was no need to post about this again, mainly because it is the same users who will be reading and replying. Your best bet at this point is to contact CL tech support:

Dave
Yeah, but the FAQ for PowerDVD 14 does not list the features in OEM versions, which have names like LE, etc.

Dave
It just sounds like the library is not properly checking for the new files when loading. Have you tried clicking the refresh button once you reenter the TV Shows window? It is right beside the search box in the top right corner.

Dave
The help says that the remote feature is not available in all versions, so if you don't see the Devices tab then unfortunately it must not be available to you.

Dave
YouCam will let you do this, but not sure you can record yourself doing that. You can download the U Webinar software from CyberLink for free and do this however: https://u.cyberlink.com/download

Dave
We need more information. What is your setup? Do you have an Apple TV, Chromecast, or Roku connected to the TV?

Dave
Depends what you want to do. The full PowerDVD specs can be found here:

https://www.cyberlink.com/products/powerdvd-ultra/spec_en_US.html

For PowerDVD 18, it is here: https://www.cyberlink.com/support/product-faq-content.do?id=21828&prodId=1&prodVerId=1326&CategoryId=-1&keyword=requirements
You never mentioned if you have the latest patch update installed. So ensure you do:

https://www.cyberlink.com/support/powerdvd-ultra/patches_en_US.html

If that doesn't work, contact technical support, since none of us can help you with the limited information you shared.

None of the CyberLink products will let you rip commercial Blu-rays. Or commercial DVDs for that matter. You can extract content from music CDs and home made DVDs in some of the software.

PowerDVD or any other products do not remove Cinavia either. PowerDVD is a media playback software and is not designed for ripping video from discs.

Dave
First, PowerDVD 12 is not guaranteed to support Windows 10. It came out three years before the release, and does not get as many updates as the later PowerDVD versions that support Windows 10. So Windows 10 updates will for sure affect playback of DRM content.

I am not sure about your setup, but Blu-rays shouldn't play on multiple screens at the same time (if that is what you meant). But anyway...it is most likely Windows compatiblity that is causing this, as you mentioned PowerDVD 19 was working fine. I would suggest upgrading to a version that supports Windows 10, i.e. version 15 or later. You can get them on Amazon still. Actually, there is a great price for PowerDVD 17 right now: https://www.amazon.com/Cyberlink-DVD-EH00-RPU0-00-PowerDVD-17-Ultra/dp/B071QX3LDR/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=power+dvd+15&qid=1564111665&s=gateway&sr=8-1

You can download the update from 10 to PowerDVD 12 in the download patches page:

https://www.cyberlink.com/support/powerdvd-ultra/patches_en_US.html

Just scroll down to PowerDVD 10. It is there. I believe you need to have the original PowerDVD 10 software though. If you don't have it anymore, you need to contact your drive manufacturer and get a new disc or download.

Dave
If you didn't purchase Screen Recorder and only got it as the plug-in for PowerDirector, then you don't have version 4. Only version 2 is bundled with PowerDirector.

You should first try updating to the latest version: https://www.cyberlink.com/support/screen-recorder/patches_en_US.html

There have been a few recent patch update fixes for all versions. I use version 4 and have never faced this issue. So maybe contact support if the patch update doesn't fix it:

https://membership.cyberlink.com/support/service/technical-support.do

Dave
Just contact Cyberlink's customer service. Only they can help you with this;
