PhotoDirector 3 is an old dog...leave it
Maybe the disc is broken, you should contact customer service or the store.
True Velocity 4 of v12 is optimized for Intel Haswell GPU 4K hardware encode, so you need a new CPU first...
You can try to disable hardware decode in Preferences first.
If you bought an upgrade, it might ask you to uninstall old version.
I suggest you to use previous version of driver.
Actually nVidia causes this kind of problem last year when I used PowerDirector 11, now it looks like they mess something up again.
This is not a bug, it is AVCHD 2.0 spec
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AVCHD#Specification_addendum_.28AVCHD_2.0.29

Media:
SD/SDHC/SDXC Memory Card
"Memory Stick"
Built-in hard-disk or flash Media

8 cm optical media (DVD) is NOT included
I have a TD10 too.

I guess it's about building menu structure, since PowerDirector is using 24Mbps for AVCHD 2.0 1920*1080 60i and it works perfectly when producing file.
it depends on what fast do you want to get your PowerDirector... drive to store or surf on Internet

anyway, you can also get a digital copy when you buy a retail box.
PowerDirector does not support 10 bits color depth so far, so neither ProRess422 MOV and MXR.
Hi ssarbot,
most templates can do free-form to any aspect ratio.
Quote: Hi
VLC media player
Windows media player
Media Player classic

will play 4K material on my computer just fine including 4K media streaming.

Forgive me, but I just love it when I read "cannot be done"

PowerDVD13 also
Quote: Hi,
I very knew at this forum. And I am happy to know you have a patch which is working. How can I found this patch?
I know - the question might be stupid, but as I said: I am new. Yet old.

The major performance improvements of v12 are H.264 encoder and Intel 4th generation Core i (Haswell) optimization.
Which means if you use other CPU or only output with DVD, you won't get advantage.

v12 did many changes, they are subtle but very appreciated.

1) Is there any way to very precisely position the transition point from sources? Right at the end, the video tutorial implies that there is some way to do this, but doesn't explain how. The only way I've found is to record past the point, pause, go back and reposition the frame marker to the point where you want the transition, and restart recording. It seems like you should be able to just drag the transition point back and forth to get the edit on the frame you want it, but I haven't found a way to do that yet.

you can use hot key(1~4) to do switch while recording or you can drag to modify the in/out point. (I believe you will know what I mean after you tried it )

2) Is there a way to display the audio tracks on the four cameras? The tool allows manual sync of the cameras to the audio tracks, but without being able to see the audio tracks, it's practically impossible to get the tracks synched. This limits the usefulness of the tool to situations where the auto sync works perfectly on all tracks, which isn't always the case. In my particular case, the first video I posted above was composed of recordings of four different shows, shot from different seats in the theater. Because the sound track is mostly prerecorded music tracks, with performers singing, the audio cues are repeatable from show to show, and the autosync does a great job of aligning the four video sources with a master audio track. But, the second video has performers singing and playing. There can be variations in timing from performance to performance. Tracks that may be in sync at the beginning of a song may be off at the end, and require tweaking.

I can't imagine how to recognize 4 different audio at the same time, maybe my ears are not good enough...
The only thing I do about syncing is select audio analysis and BANG! All clips are aligned even I put them on the same track.
It does not happen on my platform...
I guess it's about HW acceleration...
how about update to latest VGA driver first?
You can follow CyberLink on Facebook, they always announce something there.
The "Duration" button is only available for images, you should trim or change video speed.
1920x1080 with 50p/60p is not included Blu-ray Disc spec.
I doubt you can play the disc with every player...
Did you try to update to latest VGA driver or disable hardware decode in Preferences?
