PowerDirector 11: Freezes while producing the video

My video freezes when producing an MP4 (or any other format!) from my project - something, irritatingly, which didn't happen when I trialled the product. (This is the identical project produced during the trial). The point at which it freezes seems to vary by target format.

I've tried the solutions suggested for prior versions - disabling the hardware acceleration, reinstalling the software, disabling webcam. No luck...

As I said, identical file worked fine during trial - and now I have just over a week to go before the event at which I am supposed to show the clip.

Any help would be appreciated!

TIA

Did you try to update to latest VGA driver or disable hardware decode in Preferences? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes and yes.

The good news is this is now resolved - eventually, it settled on the same point in the video, and I discovered that one of the PiP elements had become corrupted. Removed, and now no issue - except, of course, I have no idea what corrupted the element! ;)
