Did you try to update to latest VGA driver or disable hardware decode in Preferences?
Looks like your Visual C++ runtime is broken, you can try to reinstall it, CyberLink has a FAQ for that:

I have an idea, I guess your final production is a disc, you can try to make 3 DVD titles with the same video but different subtitles.
AMD's bug...you should update the VGA driver to the latest.
My friend has the same issue before he update the old driver.

or you can just turn off the hardware acceleration to work around it.
PowerDirector is a complete video editing solution, but Ultimate Suite which has AudioDirector and ColorDirector is very handy.

If you also need photo editing solution, you should buy Director Suite to get PhotoDirector.
PowerDirector11 supports one subtitle track only.
how about create multiple subtitles on YouTube? You can create subtitles in PowerDirector and export .srt file then use it.
DVD-video spec has limitation for data bitrate.

Try to set "Use drop frame timecode" to "Yes"
nVidia HW encoder supports up to FullHD resolution.

maybe next generation can support 4K/QFHD
you can try to disable HW decode first.
Oh, then DVD profile will be 720 x 576/50i in your place
This issue comes from AMD's driver for OpenCL acceleration...
I read something from other developer forum, it causes their program crash at start too.
If you keep the original project, I suggest you output to DVD directly, not using the produced MPEG4 to do that because transcode it twice will lose video quality...

well, DVD has 720x480 only, maybe you can ignore that
VGA driver issue usally causes green screen because HW decode, in case you can't get new driver (some brand computers), turn off HW decode might be a temp solution.
Brilliant!!! I saw the square font trick before, PDtoots guys always surprise me with the ideas
From the aspect of computer science, it's hard to estimate variable bit rate format accurately...until the encoder really encode it.
Just set "Use drop frame timecode" to "Yes"

Hi, I have a TD10 too

you should try the 3D profile H.264 AVC 1920x1080/60i 24Mbps with multi-view coding. It works fine with my 3D monitor.
if your player supports AVCHD2.0, you can try it too.
Hi Roger,
would you please share what capture device you used?
I have a Nikon D800 too, very interested in pure HDMI output recording.
Only PowerDirector Ultimate Suite Trial has SmartSound, however it does not allow trial using for editing, only preview...
You can try to get music from DirectorZone or FreeSound.

But SmartSound is very useful, I love it!
How about turn off OpenCL?
The effect works fine on my desktop which only has Intel VGA without OpenCL support...

but even OpenCL enabled, it also works fine on my HP laptop with AMD mobility Radeon HD5400+driver 13.1
looks like only some particular combinations will trigger the crash
