do you install Apple QuickTime?
I can import your MOV correctly.

it's the 3rd gen. Ivy Bridge, not as good as new Haswell, but enough.

Panasonic GH3.
the old GH2 can only shoot 60i/50i in FullHD, but using the hacked firmware can get outstanding quality in high bitrate.

The root cause: (driver 331.82)
the latest beta patch can workaround it: http://update.cyberlink.com/ftpdload/patch/PowerDirector/VDE131105-02/CyberLink_PowerDirector_Downloader.exe

Audio and video parts are unlinked, did you try to link them (if they are the same clip)?
|
|
or click the Library Menu button > Restore to Defaults
|
|
It is "filmed/mastered" in 4K, the content in BD is still FullHD...

My computer runs Vista Home Premuim. Cyberlink says this software WILL run on Vista...
Vista is your problem for Trial, it does not provide inbox H.264 codec for your .MTS clips, you can upgrade to Win7 or Win8.1, or buy a good AMD/nVidia VGA card which provide H.264 codec.

Most of the tech companies provide beta stuff to end users, it's a trend and it's a good one.
just like I always use beta driver for my VGA, I would be happy if beta patch could fix my bug ASAP and I don't really care it has been fully tested or not, after all, a big video editing software is impossible to be "fully" tested

"all I want to do is convert a mp4 file to dvd format that I can play in my dvd player"
"I am not making a disk but writing to a file"
which means your DVD player can play MPEG2 file directly? (via an USB flash drive?)
If it's true, you should go to "Produce" page, not "Create Disc".

Always make sure your project settings are the same as your clips, otherwise you may get unsmooth result.
In your case, I will choose 24FPS.

|
PowerDirector supports micro-polarizer LCD, but the option only displays when the 3D display is connected & available.
I tried it with a Zalman 3D LCD before.

The disc authoring will use SVRT automatically to avoid re-rendering if the source clips can match DVD profile (720*480 MPEG-2 8Mbps), audio part depends on your settings, you can click the disc icon on bottom left.

Hi Bob,
MultiCam Designer is designed for multiple camera editing, if you want to use it to sync your clips, you can record for seconds > stop recording > drag the right boundary to the end of your clip > click OK.
|
|
Since the default frame rate setting of Handbrake is "same as source" but PowerDiector is not, did you try to set the same FPS as source clip's?
if the frame rate settings are different, the result will be different.

hi there,
what tool do you use to get the GPU usage?
|
|
the minimum requirement is 2GB, it's time to get some RAM.
|
|
How about using the profiles for PS3 in Device tab?
|
|
in my understanding, there are 2 concepts for disc authoring in PowerDirector.
1. Menu Designer is used for creating "menu template", not current project, so what you make in that is a template, not the final result of the disc. That's why you see the object names with default wording like item1~3 and "My Videos"
2. Create Disc page has many controls for current project you are editing like removing opening video, playback mode settings, etc. So you have to change the "My Videos" here, not in Menu Designer.
For example, if PowerDirector allows me to change the "My Videos" to "Halloween Party 2013" in Menu Designer then save it, which means it becomes the default wording of the menu template, that does not make sense.

Are you using build 2209 and editing clips with Dolby Digital?
If yes, the latest patch to 2230 may help.

PhotoDirector 3 is an old dog...leave it
