The Gear 360 sofware was created by CyberLink years ago, but it belongs to Samsung. So you should also contact their technical support team. Should get better results there:

I'm running the sfc /scannnow though I'm pretty sure I've done it before. Also, I did a re install of windows 10 where it would repair the installation and keep my current files and apps. No joy there. I also uninstalled and reinstalled it after that with the same results. I'll also try the new driver...Pretty sure it's not going to help.

I've go the latest version of Windows 10 with all the updates. It was working at one time. I had not used it for about a month and when I went to launch it just comes up with the splash screen and hangs. I can click on it and get the "not responding" message and am able to close it.

Did you try to change the font, size etc of the first title in the timeline and close it.
Then click on the first title with the right mouse button and in the open menu select: COPY Title Attributes
Then select all other tiotles and with the right mouse button open the menu and click on PASTE title attributes.
In my system, font type, size and color and position of text are changed to the first title...

Using PDR 21.5.3107
Warry's Copy/Paste title attributes works well on some titles but not on others - like Motion Graphics, Vintage Titles etc.
Some titles that don't give the Paste Attribute option can be altered by the Replace function, but again - not all.
So, depending on the Title format - you may lucky!

I have used PD365 for a couple of years on my Dell laptop. No issues. I love Power Director.
But, I have just got a new laptop. HP Envy cr0006. Brand new, 32GB RAM, loads of storage. Windows 11. I was expectig that PD365 would be even better on a more powerful new laptop.
From the Cyberlink members zone I installed my PD365 subscription onto my new laptop.
However I now have one big issue. The preview pane will only show the actual timeline. Any clips sitting in the top left area of the screen will not display on the preview pane on the right. I click on them and the preview pane does not change. I press play, and the timer starts moving along, but the preview pane remains static on whatever point I have the actual project timeline at.
I can gright-click on individual clips and successfully use the pre-cut tool, create multi-trim clips, edit alias on each one. But then when I want to watch them back before dropping them onto the timeline, the preview pane will not show them.
I have adjusted the screen resolution down from 4k to 1280/1084 but this doesn't work. I have tried it both with and without shadow file generation. Both ways and the problem is still there.
Any suggestions?

Several points to consider :-
Production
No real issues combining segments together. Using SVRT will ensure minimum loss of quality on rendering.
Keeping them separate has some obvious advantages in the event you ever needed to alter/re-edit a piece.
Playback
More practically - not all TV are equal and playback functionality does vary between models and manufacturers. Even the availability of USB ports can be a constraint if you have other peripherals - firestick etc.
Personally, I would do a couple of trials with short clips to see what your TV(s) can handle and how the playback controls work..
Segments allow more flexible user choice, rather than having to FF to a point in a larger film - but that might depend on content.
Other than that, trial and error with short clips to start with?

I'm going to assume that 2727 is no different to the current 3027 in this regard.
I think that the Pan and Zoom effect for images has always worked like that. It is a pre-defined effect with no UI to customize it directly.
The only workaround may be to apply Pan and Zoom, go into motion designer and reset the parameters, either by dragging the area to full size - but the anchor point is offset so not quite straightforward, or by resetting parameter values to position 0.5 for both X and Y and to 1.00 for width and height. Then adjust your motion path accordingly.
However that is the same as applying the user defined effect, which is much easier!

I have 24 individual music videos (downloaded from YT). I need to edit each one for length and then save them to my computer video file so I can burn to DVD and have all 24 MVs shown individually not as a 2 hour video. Here's the problem
After doing the ediring I go to production and save as MPEG. Once produced I go to the burn page, select "burn to file, designate a name/folder, then "burn". I do not have burn to disc checked.
Everytime I click on burn I get the message that the video length exceeds the space available. That's the part I don't understand. How can 2 hours of MV be too large for my video file?
Please straghten me out. How do I save it without making it like a full length movie?

Check whether Cross or Overlap

No rhyme or reason as usual, I cut a bit, press play to view the clip and it just locks up again until windows tell me to close it. 40 plus times it's doen it now. I've done this excercise a number of times using same camera, same files (bog standard MP4 @ 60 FPS) same computer...same everything, it's just now become buggy again.
Using a windows 11 laptop, I7 prosessor, lots of RAM etc...
Anyone any clues on how to get it to stay standing for more than 5 minutes?

It's buggy, it crashes all the time, it messes up audio... It feels like an incomplete product. The Mac version is relatively new and in active development and I realise that that you have a general set of questions, but anything specific you can detail may be worth raising with CL support so that they become formally aware of it? They may have suggestions for solutions to specific problems.

On my PDR21.5.3027 when I select a clip, the timeline scrubber (if that is what you mean?) jumps to the start of the clip, unless I have a number of tracks, then it does behave a little randomly, but then it always has - I've never quite got the hang of the logic of it!

Forgive me for being so long winded with my problem, but this is my first use of a forum, and I don't know what info you need to help me. I think I just need to download fresh drivers for PD12, but don't know from where, or how and where to install them on my pc.

Back in something like PD17 or so, I used lens flares for a project involving live band video. It was very nice to be able to add lighting effects to the live stage performance.
Back then, I could add a lens flare to an FX track, edit the length of it, edit the intensity of the flaring and overlap/fade different lens flares during the performance. I could put a white light in from the side, then fade to an orange light in from the back, etc.
Fast forward to today, using the latest PD365 and I can't seem to do any of that! The Lens flare is only available to put directly on a video clip and not on a separate fx track, so I can't size the lens flare and I don't know how to edit the lens flares for intensity. It's like all I can do is put it directly on a clip, it runs the length of the clip and I can't do any editing of it.
What am I missing? There has to be a way to work with these lens flares in the newest versions. Most of the time these things are changed for the better so I'm hoping that with a little education I can make lens flares even better than I could in the past. But right now I can't seem to figure out how to control the lens flares at all.

I think you will find that it may depend on the lens flare?
I've attached a quick illustration of 3 lens flares as they appear to work on my system with PDR21.5.3027 - 2 old type and 1 new type. Obviously I haven't exhaustively tested all of the lens flares!

What happens if you click on one of the download arrows at the bottom right corner of one of the transitions before you try to drag it to the timeline? When I try that, all the related transitions are downloaded and can then be used.

Should you wish to check if the transitions are downloaded or not, you might try looking using file explorer. On my system they are found here :-

It might be a different on your system, in that I do not know how the actual download naming works exactly, but with a bit of searching you might be able to confirm if they are actually downloaded??
