Following the increasing use of personal cloud file sharing for troubleshooting members’ issues, discussions on privacy and access implications have been completed.

We’d like to advise you that the Management Regulations of CyberLink Forum were updated to add the paragraph below:

“You understand and acknowledge that all posts on CyberLink forum are accessible to all visitors (members and non-members) and search engines. CyberLink is not responsible for posts or comments made by members on CyberLink forum.”

It was added as a safeguarding reminder to our current and future users who share their personal PowerDirector projects publicly, that doing so means that your personal video and photo files in projects can be accessed by anyone on the Internet.

We do not want to discourage anyone from sharing personal PowerDirector projects, but if you do, it is important to keep these privacy implications in mind.

Suggested alternatives are:

- Share the links to personal PowerDirector project files on Google Drive, One Drive, etc. via PM.
- Restrict access to the personal PowerDirector project files by requiring users to request access.
