Hello everyone!

I'm using PowerDirector iOS version on Macbook M1 as my subscription is still active until next month.

I cannot import media like video and audio to PowerDirector and it says "This media content cannot be imported".

I'm planning to buy PowerDirector 365 yearly subscription for Macbook when my subscription for iOS has ended.

But I still need to make some video with iOS app on Macbook as my eyes is not working with mobile screen anymore.

Kindly answer me how to solve this problem.

Hello,

It is difficult to be certain, since you did not provide much information but it may be because your media is not on your Mac's hard drive?

If that is not the case, you can also try asking CyberLink Tech Support:

I also was not aware that the mobile version would work on a Macbook. Not sure if that is the issue:

Hello,

PowerDirector iOS app actually works on Macbooks. (Only M1 and M2 SoC Macbooks)
Both my audio and video files are on my hard drive.
I tried with .mov and .MP4 for Video and .mp3, .wav and .mp4a for audio. Neither work and failed.
I can run smoothly PowerDirector iOS app and even produced 2 videos.
I just cannot import audio and video files from outside of the app.

But i can import photo.
