Can this be done in a simple way? I did not want the first chapeter in my DVD, and wanna skip to the second chapter.

You can refer to a video editor software like Pavtube video converter, it can help with fade in or fade out.
Another solution is to transcode the video to PD natively supported video type before adding, that works for me.
Will this be solved with a revision or a new patch?

Have you checked the Blu-ray on your Blu-ray player before? And sometimes the issue is with disc itself like scratches. If this is not the probloem, try to backup the Blu-ray to hadr drive, and then add into PowerDVD for viewing. That works for me.
You could try to play ISO image files with other media players, but first of all, you need save ISO to other digital video format beforehand, that make the movie playback much convenient.
Why not saving 2D BD ISO to 3D video also and then no need to change the settings?
Is it probably related to the fact that your Blu-ray may be specially protected? My solution is to backup my new Blu-ray Hunger Games: MockingJay pt. 1 on my computer first, and then upload to PowerDVD for viewing, that works for me.
I believe your conversion may be the problem. Use a professional converter for the ripping again, may help.
I know the video bitrate and video frame rate may affect the smooth playback. I would suggest you to try other settings for video encoding. Hope this may help you.
Totally agree with daaceking, and I will not choose PowerDVD to play my videos, I rather choose VLC.
20th Century Fox's Blu-rays are tricky, I know they are specially protected. In order to play their Blu-rays, I would say to backup these Blu-rays hebeforehand, and then stream to PowerDVD, that works for me.
Mind if I ask which movies you would like to play via Plex media server? I have trouble playing MKV movies on Plex, weird.
Hi mrjcjones, you haven't mentioned where this ts file comes from. For those videos that cannot be played in PowerDVD, I would choose to transcode them beforehand to like WMV or MOV.
Is it probably related to region protection? If so, it's better you may make a copy of original disc and then playback through PowerDVD.
My concern about your issue is it is not related to particular disk, it may happen to all discs you own. My solution to this is make digital copies of all your collection without region protection, and they can be played through any media player.
I would recommend BDMagic to you to convert 3D Blu-ray to 2D Blu-ray and then play in PowerDVD.
Why no Win 8 compatibility? Will this be fixed in future update? Or I have to upgrade to the latest PowerDVD version to be compatible with win8?
Thank you for the info, that helps a lot.
Same problem, could anyone offer a working solution to stop the error message?
Can this issue be solved if I backup these two Blu-ray to digital copies before loading into PowerDVD 12?
