Problems with PowerDirector 12 - Produced MP4 has no length details and freezes during playback

Okay, I've used PD12 for well over 100 videos without a problem.

This time, while trying to produce my typical MPEG-4 1920x1080/30 video, it processes and makes the video with no issues or errors. I am using PD12 to combine a WAV audio file together with my typical MPEG-2 TS video thats been recorded with Nvidia's ShadowPlay screen recording software.

Again, nothing I am doing with this video is new. I've been able to complete such processes in PD12 many dozens of times without any issues. However with the video, PD12 keeps making output videos that play well for about 2/3 of the video, then the video jsut stops, but the sound continues to play. This is obviously not a good file however as when you go to the properties of the file and click the details tab, there is no information available such as the video length.

I would assume that my recorded TS video is the fault, except that I can play it in its entirety without any problems at all. So why PD12 keeps producing a bad video with good video files used to make the output video is quite perplexing.

I have my PD12 set to automatically update, I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, have 8 GB of Ram and a GeForce 750 GTX ti 2 GB Video card. My Nvidia driver is up to date with version 350.12 installed now (release date 4/13/2015) When I click the 'about' in my PD12, I get this: PowerDirector Ultra 12.0.3403.0

I'm halfway through a 20 hour long game and cannot go back to re-record this section of the game at this point. So any advice on making this work would be greatly appreciated. Like I say the WAV audio file and the MPEG-2 ts video files are good going into PD12, and it plays everything without problems in the editor. It's just when i go to have PD12 produce the video that the video it produces as garbage. I have tried it 4 times now without a successful end result.

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried producing with fast video rendering technology unchecked. What are the arrows that you are talking about....

LOL. I meant to type "errors" not arrows.. have no idea what I was thinking when I typed that, but I fixed it.

I'll try it with fast rending unchecked if is indeed checked already. Right now I'm trying to process it with preview video checked to see if that makes any difference.

Thanks for the response and trying to help!

PROBLEM RESOLVED!

I tried it again by clicking the option to watch the video as it processes, which by default UNCHECKS the fast rendering technology.. just as tomasc suggested above.

Perfect output this time!

Thanks for the help tomasc!

Another solution is to transcode the video to PD natively supported video type before adding, that works for me.
