PowerDvd 9 BD problem.

Hi,

I have installed PowerDVD 9 BD with the Cyberlink BD Suite, however when I try to play a Blue Ray disc i get the error message:

"Playback stopped because your graphics card driver is incompatible. Make sure it meets the minimum requirements. You can find additional information on the Cyberlink FAQ web site (Error code = 0012)

Run the BD Advisor tool for more information"

I then ran the BD Advisor tool and it told me I passed and my system was ready to run Blue Ray discs.

This is the second laptop I have installed the program on and it worked fine on my last.

Any help and advice anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

You did not state what windows operating system is on each laptop. Don't expect win8 compatibility.

Why no Win 8 compatibility? Will this be fixed in future update? Or I have to upgrade to the latest PowerDVD version to be compatible with win8?

emma : What version do you have NOW? This thread is about PowerDVD 9 If that is what you are using, then yes, you may have to upgrade if it doesn't work for you. Do you have Windows 8 now. Does PowerDVD 9 work for you or haven't you tried it.

Give us more details so we can provide help.

Both systems run windows 7. The discs that worked on the previous laptop no longer run.
