Nvidia official Video Encode and Decode GPU Support Matrix:
https://developer.nvidia.com/video-encode-decode-gpu-support-matrix

If you are using modern Nvidia GPU, you have no choice but using NVENC, CUDA acceleration is dropped here.

Looks like CL adapted what is perhaps the unofficial approval of subrip format,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SubRip

Jeff is correct, PowerDirector uses SubRip format, unfortunatelly YouTube does not support the additional style information (formatting).

And also except video encoding.

Hmmm, we must read very different reviews.

With the same price, AMD Ryzen 3000 beats Intel in almost every part except gaming.
Quote I have a problem in which, I have seemed to have deleted one of the clips I used in my project, and it shows that error message. I deleted the clips in my project that were deleted from my gallery to try to resolve the error problem, but after deleting the missing clips out of my project, the error message "One of the media files cannot be found because it was removed" still appears. I really need the help ASAP, as I'm editing a school project that is due to passing

There must be another file are removed too, zoom in your project to check it closely, it will be red highlighted.

Here it is - https://www.dropbox.com/s/rphjl5jnzxq8uk2/IMG_5234.MOV?dl=0

Just put it in the time line and do a few splits and edit the lenth in a few different places and produce it.

Thanks again for the help and responces!

What GPU do you have? I only have tested this on Nvidia GPU's

Interesting, my v17 works fine with your video but my platform is weaker than yours.
Maybe customer support can help you.

Here's the two files on OneDrive. They are eight second clips.

I can preview & edit both normally in my PowerDirector 17.
Try the latest patch first

Do I need to uninstall PD 16 to access Suite 365?

Not necessary, you may keep it and just ignore the update notifications.
But I have to say v17 is better.

Gibt es die möglichkeit das Video untouched zu belassen und nur effekte wie übergänge zu integrieren.

Unfortunately PowerDirector does not support HDR video.

BTW, HDR has many different formats, since youmentioned it's from your smartphone, I guess it's HLG.
Well, I don't expect my car dealer will call me to install any fancy new part from the coming 2020 model for free.
Quote In PowerDirector 17 I used to be able to select Intel Quick Sync video rendering when using LPCM encoding. However, since my laptop unexpectedly shut off on me while rending a video, I have no longer been able to select this, so far I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling my video drivers and the program all to no avail. This does not happen when selecting other audio encoding methods as shown in screenshots below. I have an Acer Inspire ES15 Windows 10 with 4GB RAM intel core i3 5500. If anyone else can provide methods on how to fix this please reply ASAP. I'm trying to provide my viewers the best visual and auditory experience possible and that can not be provided through compounded compression. That's why I was using LPCM encoding when editing individual clips and only exporting to AAC when doing the final project.

Sounds like some VGA related module or data is broken.
Try to install the latest VGA driver and optimize hardware acceleration(in Preferences) again.

Well, if that is true why can the manufacturers of other Video editing software I have (e.g. Vegas) get this working properly. I have asked both NVidia and Cyberlink to look at this together. I can imagine that they too like this long time discussion being brought to an end...

I don't have the latest version but just tried Vegas Pro 14, the option says "Render using CUDA if available", and it looks like using CPU to encode since two GPUs are idle.
Maybe the old NVidia GPU and old VGA driver may work, but CUDA has been dropped in current VGA driver.

and even Premiere Pro CC has the same result as PowerDirector: Use Intel GPU only.
Quote EUREKA, I just figured it out. After producing about ten videos I realized the the option for creating a subtitle track only referenced DVD/BDMV/AVCHD/MKV. I have been producing the movie as an MP4. I just produced the video using MKV and ability to turn them on and off now appears. Thanks for all the help.

MP4 doesnnot support embedded subtitles, only the mighty MKV format supports it!

Cyberlink: PLEASE FIX this coding error in your software so that Optimus systems - the most advanced laptops - can make proper use of their powerful graphics cards to render Video. This has been ongoing for years and yet you do nothing about it. So frustrataing.

Pretty Please!

This issue has been discussed for a long time and the root cause belongs to NVidia, some Optimus platforms will crash when using their API to access NVidia GPU.
Since there is no solution so far, using Intel GPU is the safe way.
Quote The Powerdirector App allows one to export a project to the Cyberlink Cloud. Is the opposite possible? I created a project on the App and moved it to the Cloud. I then imported the project onto my laptop and made some minor changes. I put the updated project back on the Cloud with a new name. Now I would like to work on it some more via the mobile app but there does not appear to be a way to import - ast least that I can find.

Thank you,
Al

It's an one way, since PC version has much more features than the app, it cannot handle PC version's project.
Yes you can.

Quote Render output with vp9/av1 codec.

It's royalty free and better in almost every way.
Why not use it?

Av1 is from 2015, we are now entering 2019.
4 years is enough waiting.

Actually AV1 just has their initial release in last March, maybe we will see new camcorder/camera to record with AV1 in the future, not just on new Android phones.

Besides, AV1 and VP9 are highly optimized for streaming/low bitrate usage, end users don't get too many benefits from it.
PowerDirector can save you some time with "Freeze Frame":

  1. Add the video to the timeline

  2. Seek to find the frame you like

  3. Right click the video > Edit Video > Freeze Frame

  4. Apply a black/white effect to the snapshot or adjust it's color

It's basically a macro instruction and do the split, take a snapshot then insert it to the timeline.
Quote I am chasing a DVD problem at the moment,

I use m2ts format to burn to DVD, AVCH . I found for some reason the file I was produced had changed from 30 fps. To 50 fps. Although the rest of the information about the clip remained the same

I an not sure at the moment if this is the cause of the failures, but certainly would not help ?

rgds

According to your ID, I guess you live in UK, which is PAL area and your player and TV should be 25/50FPS.
Check the setting in Preferences > General > Timeline frame rate.
I'm using iPhone 8 Plus, and my HEVC works fine...
I suggest you to delete the media cache from registry editor then import again to re-generate thumbnails, maybe it will help.
