Quote Downloaded Software. Will Recognize regular discs but not AVHDC or Blu-Ray Discs. What is the problem?

Thanks

Where and when did you buy PowerDVD 16; the latest version is PowerDVD 17.

If you did not buy the Ultra or Live version, the blu ray feature would not be available. Your computer should play the AVCHD disc if your drive is blu ray enabled.

Run the Advisor (here) to check if your hardware will handle those types of discs.

If you have the correct version and the advisor says that you have the your rig will play the discs and it doesn't. Post back with your computer's Windows dxdiag.exe text file (text file; not the line by line result). There is no personal information except for what you call your computer. Also include any additional information that might help us diagnose the problem.

Contact Cyberlink Sales (where you may have bought the software) to return it if it is within 30 days of purchase. If you bought it elsewhere, you must contact them for return or exchange.
Quote I resently upgraded to PD16 and now I can't grab the little dots in an audio track to change levels at different parts with in the same waveform.
I have looked at every setting, but nothing helps.
PD14 and 15 let you do this so why not 16?
I need to be able to do this manually as I could before.
Please help!

First, this post is in the wrong part of the forum. Thi one is for PowerDVD (player) rather than PowerDirector (video editor). I mentioned this because some people will read only certain forums and you may lose some people who have the answer.

Yes, it is changed in PowerDirector 16. Just add the CTRL key to your adjustments. It bugged me also and I have no idea why it was changed.

Edit: I wish I could type. I know how to spell but somewhere there is a disconnect.
No need to bold; we can hear you fine.

Watch this video; they talk about it. It may give you enough. Also sign up for the Webinar scheduled for the end of January. It will be primarily aimed for PhotoDirector but it will have some iformation about hiding the tripod.

Quote At a minimum, send order number, copy of e-mail you got from Cyberlink, acknowledgement of your requests to Cyberlink Sales, etc.
Did you look at the other two locations (spam and on-line) to see if your request was addressed?

As I said I followed their instructions "step by step" plus I sent them an e-mail.
I'll wait a couple of days and if they ignore me, then it'll be time to look for warez.

Did you get Hicham involved? He is the only Cyberlink employee that frequents these user forums. Since the resat of us are just software users, we can't help. You are welcome to complain but don't expect much help for the users.

e-mail? Go here to see if you get any helpful information,
I thought that he requested some information but that may have been in another thread.

Quote Cyberlink was quick to send me even more "unwanted" advertising but regarding my enquire still no replay.

Other suggestions:
1) Look at the original sales receipt for a link.
2) Look in your e-mail spam folder for the reply.
3) Go to the web site where you asked the question and see if there is a reply there.

Send a private message to Cyberlink-Hicham and give him the information he requested.
Did you try here?
That is the graphics processor (GPU). It is part of the Pentium processor. The issue is that Pentium CPU (central processing unit.
You can look to see if there is an undadted driver for the GPU, You can use Windows to see if there is an updated driver via Device Manager.
Before you spend any money, contact Acer to see if a card type CPU and be installed.
I also suggect that you take the time to lean about CPU and GPU and how they work. I think that it is a case of spending god money after a bad choice.
From the post: "untill this blur-problem has been fixed !"
A post above yours says it is by design. Good or Bad, is is not a problem with the program. Please add that to the list of issues for PowerDVD 18.
edit : Carl answered it better
Quote I have version 13 of PD installed but when I go to update to 16 it says I don't have it on my comp. How to I install the update I paid for?

Since you have PowerDirector 13 installed, the upgrade should just install over it. What are the names of the files you downloaded? Did you download them all? What happens when you click on the installer?
Quote Hi There:
Since there doesn't seem to be a Cyberlink Cloud area, I'll post this here as a noob PowerDirector user.
https://cloud.cyberlink.com/login
...does not recognize my login even after I've joined Cyberlink as a member and "redeemed" my free 25GB of storage under Management. When I try to Log In using same email and password, it says I "don't have Cyberlink Cloud yet." (??)
Thanks for any help anyone,
~CyberBilly

Did you try this entrance to the cloud? I just tried and was able to get in to my account.
Are you talking about the APP for your Android phone ? Go here. it is still free but you can get rid of commercials with your PowerDVD Live.
Other than that, I suggest you talk to Cyberlink Sales. As you know, this is a users site and don;t have all the iinformation you need.
Josh, This post has been added to the forum for PowerDVD, a player rather than to PowerDirector. If the attchment doesn't answer your question, you may want to repost it on the Power Director forum
There was a recent Webinar to introduce the new features in PD16. Watch it here.
Also there are several tutorials on 360 degree video here.
Remerber that the higher number tracks overlay the lower number track.
Have you sent a message to Cyberlinbk Tech Support so they can try it and try to issue a fix (or at least an explanation)?
Does that camcorder have a built in stitcher or one that works with a cell phone? I can't find much on it on line. Did it come with stitching software> If so, use that.
If you are seeing what you describe, you need to stitch the video. By the way make sure that you have the 350 icon below the preview window activated.
Here is a link to the Cyberlink Video tutorial son 360 video. Pick the ones that are applicable to that camcorder. This one may be the best general tutorial.
Quote How do you copy dvd to dvd or cd to cd on Power Director 15 Ultra ?

It would be time consuming to rip the discs to your computer and then output them to the discs.
You can save time and frustration by using the essential version of Power2Go 11. This basic version is free from Cyberlink. They have a feature rich version for some $$.
Remember not all DVDs and CDs can be copied depending on the copyright protection. Since Power2Go Essential is free you have nothing to lose by trying.
That is possibly the most difficult adjustment to make in audio recording and improvement. That is because the human voice is a mismash of frequencies varity. There is not an narrow band of frequencies like that of a musical instrument or a cell phone There will be frequencies that are common to both the male and female voices. How to separate them?
If you are willing to try and really need it, why don't you download the free 30 day trial and play with it?

Quote will this issue gone after you restart PC? it seems fine on my laptop.

no. and i re downloaded it again. This is not a problem with my computer.

There is no Dec 20 update to Power2Go 11. The last one is from Dec 13.
That is a pretty definitive statement.
I'm not having any problems with my desktop either so... .Where did you get the file ID as "Data1.7z" .
Did you look at the notes for this update and do you fit into one of these categories?
" Note: This patch is not for Power2Go OEM versions, or versions purchased via Steam.
Adds support on Windows 10 Fall Creators Update platforms.
Resolves the issue that certain YouTube videos cannot back up in 2160P (4K) quality.
Minor bug fixes."
Did you have your antivirus and/or registry cleaner active? It sounds like you have a zipped file - do you? Where did you get it?
I just checked mine, It opened the second time after almost immediately closing it and it did not give me that message.
Why are you opening and closing the program that frequently? What do you have going on when you first close it? Where are you saving the temporary project files?
