Hatti,

Thanks for including the Sharper Turtle in your recommendation links. laughing I appreciate it!
I totally agree with your assessment. This feature is in its infancy. I did figure out a way to have motion in the collage designer at the beginning and the end, (example here) but it just illustrates the fact that the tool is not yet mature.
Here is a short tutorial to show you how to do what Hatti wrote about. It shows how to add fonts to Windows 10 that can be used in your Title Designer in PowerDirector. (and other applications as well)
What software are you capturing the video with? Could you describe your settings?
I can recall WordStar. tongue-out We've come a long way!
You'll find short tutorials on all kinds of ways to use titles here. (And much more.)
Steve,

The programs that come bundled with PD are older versions that the software companies are unlikely to support very well. It's like Microsoft offering upgrades for Word 2.0.

If you are relatively new to PD, I have some tutorials here for the package and the add-on packages, including Titler Pro and Adorage.
Here is a video tutorial on how to do that. (Even if this is an old post)
Here is a short tutorial on how to do just that.
Could you provide a bit more detail about what you are trying to achieve. I am having a hard time visualizing what you are looking for.
David,

Glad I understood what you were looking for. I'll work on a tutorial for what you saw. I'll do a circle and show you the technique. Hopefully it will be close enough that you can tweak the process to get what you want. Should be up on my channel within a day or two.
I have developed a host of tutorials for PowerDirector. Some of them involving titles are here. I'll work on your idea and get back to you. Maybe I can com up with what you are looking for.

I put a sample on the website in the center column of this page. It's called "four videos and a center description". Let me know if it is somewhat like the effect you are looking for.
YouTube has some great getting started materials. They are located here.

Once you have created your channel, there is an easy upload from any file directory on your system with your PowerDirector videos.
Here is another location with 200+ PowerDirector tutorials:

Unfortunately, I don't see an option in the settings that remembers your last size for the application window.
Newegg.com has a great deal through today PST time USA
You're welcome. I designed that channel,so I'm glad you found it valuable. If you don't see something you need, just ask. Always looking for ideas for new tutorials.
Here is a tutorial on the procedure the shadowman wrote about.

I heartily agree. One would think that New Blue could generate a nice revenue stream if they could package or offer a slightly newer versiion at a modest price. I'm guessing they don't want the headaches that come with tech support of an older version.
This is a bit of a wild guess, but wonder if another program on your computer is using that hot key. You might try to reassign the command to another key and see if that makes a difference.
If your capture produces one long file, here is a tutorial showing how to mark each segment as a range and produce a separate video for each.
