Hi All,
I am looking forward to purchase a copy of PD16 Ultimate for video editing.

I am currently trying out the trial-copy of the PD16 and when i try to import a 4K UHD video in MP4 format, I am prompted with the following error:

"Your version of PowerDirector doesn't support this feature"

But I have not problem with importing 1080p video in MP4 format for editing.

Before I commit to the licensed copy, can anyone advise me if PD16 Ultimate licensed copy can support importing & editing of 4K UHD video? (I try not to convert the 4K UHD video to 1080p for editing and then render it back to 4K again).

Appreciate your feedback

p/s: system wise i think i should be ok. I am using a i7 CPU with 64GB Ram on Windows 10 (64bits)

Dont worry, it's a trial limitation (see attached)

I use PD16 for 4K all the time

Welcome to the volunteer forum, you made a great choice for your software.
The trial version is badly limited and that is what you are running in to.

Upload a 5-10 second clip and we can verify, but I have no doubt you'll be fine, CL is a leader in 4K. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

Thank you Barry for pointing me to the PD16 ultra spec page, i believe both utlra and ultimate version their specs on video import/export list are the same.

I feel confident now to go ahead with the licensed copy.

Than you for your help !
