i bought Power2go 12 Platinum (Bundle with the Upgrade to Power DVD 18 Ultra), but I can't activate it because my product key isn't accepted. Does somebody know what could be done?
Thanks.
As always, did you check that you are not mistaking a 0 (zero) for an O and 1 (one) for a l (liwer case L)?
Also look here for other solutions if you can't get in tough with Cyberlink as suggested by cloudtest115.

See your other topic where this has been answered. REVO
|

Use the trial version of REVO Uninstaller Pro in the Moderate Mode (only). It should uninstall the previous version but be careful. Turn off your antivirus and have a recent Windows restore point available.

I use PowerDirector for videos and PhotoDirector for photos.
Does Cyberlink offer a product for graphic design which has powerful text effects? Thank you.
Look at the 3rd party plug-ins on this page. NewBlue Titler Pro is very good.

Have you turned on shadow files if you are using high resolution video files? How long In time) are you trying to edit? Are the files on your system drive?
|
|
It is but perhaps not in all cases.
You neglected to tell us what camcorder you used to capture the video. What did you use to stitch it ? Tell us more - length of video, computer you re using etc. The more you tell us up front, the less we have to do a dialog to get the information we need.
Have you looked at the tutorials here?
I have a Samsung G360 and it works well. I can stitch and encode so I can put it on YouTube.

A part of me is thinking it may be time to re install win10 fresh.. or go threw the registry and manually remove any reference to cyberlink with hopes that after that and another install of director 6.
Though I cant get passed the fact that all the software works perfectly in safe mode. Errors out right away in win10 but totally working in safe mode..
That has to tell someone something right??
Don;t go throught the registry by yourself. You may be sorry. Instead, download the trial version of REVO Pro Uninstaller and run it in the MODERATE Mode only to remove PhotoDirector 8.
I've used it before and was pleased.
Do you have a Windows Restore point? You may want to do that without affecting your files except for those after the restore point.

Make sure your project and the downloaded file are both the same -- either the 4 by 3 or 16 by 9 or the European equivalent.

I am attempting to import video into powerdirector 15. The video have been downloaded to my pc from my camcorder. When I select the video clips to import, it is really slow and if I right click on the video clip being imported, it says "Shadow file: being generated. Each clip has a small yellow "video" icon in the corner, which eventually turns to green when the clip is "ready". What the heck is all this and how do I speed things up?
You can turn off the shadow files in preferences BUT they may be necessary if you computer is underpowered for the program and you are working with hiigh definition video files.
Please post you computer specification using dxdiag.exe text file. It will tell us about your computer but will not disclose any personal information (except what you call your computer).
About the fourth one down in this thread.
Sorry the forum is not working right for me just now.

Translation:
I hope you can add more external subtitle files. Although there are copyright issues on genuine CDs, in many cases, the English CDs bought will not be very effective for viewing for some groups of people. I hope to increase the number of external subtitle files.

I have this feeling that if i could download the programs seperately and use the seperate keys they would work. No where to download them on the site.
Not possible. Also remember that you have a limited number of installs after which you must contact Tech Support and perhaps Sales regarding your issue

I also just tried uninstalling photodirector 8 and reinstalling it with the antivirus dissabled and the same outcome.
If you downloaded the program, the downoload may be corrupt. Contact Cyberlink sales directly to get a new download unless you paid for an extended download. If you bought it from other than Cyberlink, (like e-Bay) contact where you bought it and get a new download.

|
Did you have your antivirus active during the install?
Please post the Windows dxdiag.exe file on your computer so we can see what you are working with and if there are any errors being shown.

Hello there,
How i can disable this VERY annoying advertisement that is appearing in my screen, is just very distracting, I paid for the software. Please do something.
Thanks,
Carlos A
Go to settings and then go down to the "general" tab. Uncheck the box next to "Check for Update" under "Player Options".
This is a users group so we can't do anything but suggest.

This came with my new computer. Even though the audio player comes with an equalizer and a shuffle, there is no repeat button. I checked and there's no update, so I'm using the latest version of this one. I found a chart that shows hot keys and it does show that there is a replay button. Is this only for the paid version? I would find that hard to believe. as every free player I've used has a repeat. Also, I can't find any info (looked as long as I could) on the site re differences between the free and paid or upgrades..
The OEM (free version) is customized to the hardware vendor's specifications. If what you are looking for is not there, then the vendow chose for it not to be.

Thanks, I'll look on the camera but it's a tiny Samsung with a screen about half the size of a stamp.
Robert
It always help if you give more detail regarding the camera (and your computer).
For instance I have a Samsung Gear 360 camera (older) that looks like a undersized pool cue ball with a tripod underneath. It has no screen except for a small one that allows you to select your options. It is not full 4K and cost just about $150 US. The newere ones are 4K, have a white base and cost around $250.
Go here for tutorials on 360 video..

I want to make a music video for a teacher that inspried me to learn Scotish Gaelic. Is powerdvd 16 easy for beginner. Can I add text and the images move in creative ways.
Tutorials here:
How much experience do you have? Have you ever used Windows Movie Maker? Can you see you using this more in the future?
Adding images, music and text are easy having them move is slightly more difficult. There may be some things you want to do that cannot be done with this program (nor any others).

Weather I put it on a DVD or just save it to my desk top the out come is the same poor. Any one have any ideas?
Thanks for you time.
Tell us about your computer via Windows dxdiag,.exe
What video resolution are you editing? What output? What I see is that drone's camera records in MOV format.
I just edited, produced and plaued (via screen cast to a 4K TV)) a 15 minute 4K video from a series of mt2s video recorded by a hand held Sont camcorder recorded video and it looked great

Yes, I have seen that this helps, but, I forward and rewind many times before I start.
This is a strange problem. Hope it get's a solution one day. Windows 10 is not friend with the USB Grabber software. Is it a different software out there?
First go to the movie grabber web site and see if they have an updated driver for the grabber you have. Capture in uncompressed AVI if possible.
If the tapes are in bad enough condition, you will get the copyright error. The signal mimincs the copyright protection present on some old commercial videos. There is no way to capture the tapes if they are in bad enough condition.

what is the difference?
Sort of trying to eat milk, yeast, and flower vs eating bread.
You must "cook" (render) that ppp project file to a video format that is acceptable to YouTube - mpg2 for instance.
