Hi All,
I tried to search but couldnt find the answer. Is it possible to create an ultra-wide video from two cameras? For example, I want to take two 170 degree action cameras and combine/overlap them to create a single 250 degree video. Is it possible? If so, how?
Just drag them to timeline and resize & put them together.
But you will get a letterbox video after all.

Just like what Tony said, there are many formats of transparent/alpha .MOV
I suggest to install QuickTime if you find some unsupported clips.

Intel's GPU just has higher priority in PowerDirector because it is more stable on a hybrid (Optimus) platform.
My platforn with Intel Xeon (w/o integrated GPU) can use NV GPU for fx, video decode and encode acceleration correctly.

My produced mp4 video w/ Dolby audio works fine with other software.

Looking at various containters I don't see any addition of multi-ch lossless audio options. We still seem to be stuck with DD5.1. Given that high quality/bitrate encoding options available (eg H265 @ 3840*2160 @ up to 60fps) it seems odd to not include at least ONE lossless Multi Channel option even if it is LPCM.... or am I missing something?

Unfortunately we have only DD5.1 or stereo, I don't see any consumer level software can produce Dolby TrueHD or dts master audio.
Maybe we can expect FLAC.
At least now we can produce to .mp4 with DD5.1 in v16, that is NEW!

i think i'll wait the patch update to see if previous delivred plugins have their license back to work in PD16.
For 3rd parties like NewBlue and ProDAD, the bundle deal is only for one version, so we cannot use the old plugins in the new PowerDirector.
But the packs from CyberLink like Action and Holiday ones are not limited.

It's not there, looks like Nvidia doesn't fix their hardware encoder issue.

There is no spec for that so I believe we won't see UHDBD authoring in v16.
UHDBD authoring is only for movie studios at this moment.

It's a tough case, I suggest you to use Render Preview:
Range select that part on the timeline then you will see the button.

Since you are in hurry, I suggest you to reinstall the old one to workaround it, old version could open your project correctly.
Even hotfix may need couple days at least.

Not every template suits 360 video so some of them are hidden when you set project as 360(2:1) aspect ratio.
But here is a tricky way: Switch project to 16:9, select a template and add it to timeline, switch project to 360 and open the template on timeline in PiP Designer, save it as a custom template. POOF! Now you get a 360 custom template.

XAVC-L uses MXF as container and includes 10bit color depth, so it goes to professional like Sony PXW-Z100...
