Just don't use 10bit video, other formats should work fine.wink
Quote Bernoullis, welcome to the volunteer forum.
I did try Corel, it was on sale, and had integrated Smartsound. There was some I liked about CVS, and some I didn't. I found the layout of CVS to be too spartan, or barren, lacking in "personality". On top of that the response time was dreadful, click, wait, click, wait. I must say I just love PowerDirector and don't even bother seriously trying other NLEs anymore. All in for PD.

Barry,

I guess you might know you could use SmartSound in PowerDirector 15 if you had installed it from old version or you could get independent installer form somewherewink
Quote Real keyers are NOT hard to code at all!

I wonder what does "Real keyers" mean? Current chroma key is not a real one?
It only helps for seeking big file and generating continous thumbnails on timeline, but it generally speed up your computer as Carl says.
First, installing a 32bit program to a 64bit OS doesn't make sense, especially it doesn't help to an old slow computer.

An old computer might run slowly but it should not crash...

You may send the crash info back to CyberLink if you see the dialog, or post the error message to customer service.
Sounds like hardware decoder issue, have you tried t disable it in Preferences?
Here is the workaround, go to Facebook settings and remove the device from authorized list:

You may download the free trial to test your clips.

Personally I have Hero 4 black and works perfectly, PowerDirector has Action Camera Center with all the features GoPro needs.
Hi Terry,

Have you tried to reinstall PowerDirector and patch to the latest?
If you don't find the profile you want in Produce page, you may click [+] to customize one.
I see...so you need 1:1 aspect ratio for IG.
Hi JoAnn,

What profile did you select? I guess you selected an AVCHD 2.0 profile (high frame rate/bitrate) but your BD player supports AVCHD 1.0 only.
Hi Ivan,

There are only 16:9 and 9:16...since it's for mobile using.

But I'm curious: Why 4:3 in 2016?
Hi, what the audio format of your source clip and produce profile?

My projects work fine besides the unsupported formats.

Quote You are implying that the wtv captured file worked properly on PD13 but not in PD15. Could you record say a 5 to 10 sec. sample of say 1080/60i for users to check out.

My old WTV files are still work fine with v15, they are 1080 29.97fps, can be recognized and converted to standard .m2ts
Quote I am attempting to edit two segments at at about 20 minutes in length. They were recorded at 59.94 FPS in a professional studio. When I get to 14 minutes 25 seconds on both clips, the video freezes and all sound stops. I can play the clips on Windows Media player with no problems so I know the clips are ok. Why am I experiencing this problem? Is there a setting or some other issue I need to deal with?

George Sinnott

Have you tried the latest patch and VGA driver?

Quote On my tablet version, the option to add a second video for b roll doesn't appear on the list in the layers button. just an image, text, and sticker. no video option. The option shows on my android phone. same version numbers! Help!

Not every processor is powerful enough to handle the multiple HD video.

I've installed the 2226 beta patch & my observation so far is that the above statement should read:

"Partly fixes the issue that SVRT malfunctions after splitting a video."

Not sure on that, that sounds like pref > Produce > "Allow SVRT on single..." is not selected.

Jeff

Clips from some camcorder makers need to enable the option to use SVRT, especially Canon.
If patch does not help, try to disable hardware decode in Preferences, and don't use SVRT to produce video.

Software decoder and encoder should be more reliable.
Do you try some tools to verify the FPS like MediaInfo?

There is an beta patch on top, you may want to try it:

Just import a video to AudioDirector, do what you want (trim, adjust pitch, etc.) then produce as audio file, it will do the rest.
