RX570 on one of my PC works fine with PowerDirector 16, and the CPU is Intel Core i5 8400.

Actually you may download the free trial to check if the hardware acceleration works with your GPU.
So far PowerDirector Android supports cross type transition only...
Maybe one day there will be an option to switch to overlap type.
Quote
had lots of transitions, zooming and lots more editing.

Here is the clue!
SVRT only works with the "clean" parts on the timeline, if you apply effects, transitions, titles, it becomes "dirty" and SVRT is not avaiable.
Quote Sony a6300 4k, DJI Mavic Air 4k and Go Pro HD

Interesting, I have same clips from those cameras but SVRT works fine here, you may check my attached screenshot.
Quote Hi all, does anyone experienced this issue:

in Collage Video Designer the frame motion setting seems to works only at the beginning of the theme, it doesn't work at the end of the theme (please see app).

HERE <video controls="controls" width="300" height="150">
<source src="https://www.dropbox.com/s/hdswkh363ajbqlb/Collage%20designer%20issue.wmv?dl=0" />
</video> is a screen rec of the issue I experienced.

This should be a bug...
The preview does not work correctly when animation is set to during closing. Fortunately it works with clips added.

Sadly the quailty of the video leaves a lot to be desired . I used Geforce Expeoience to capture and edit with PD 16 and it does a great job with a better pic.

The thing is Geforce Expeience is wonky, when it works its great when its not like now its a pain so that why I am trying out Recorder

Have you tried to set higher bitrate for better quality? Default setting is not high.

GeForce Experience works more like dumping data from the display pipeline, but it depends on how the applications(games) use VGA.
Quote Hi, I've been using Powerdirector for Android on my Note 8 and I'm really enjoying it.

I was wondering if there is any plans to allow users to specify their own output directory? It is a pain to have to manually copy the finished file to another folder in order to have it backed up by Google Photos.

It's actually a limitation, Android does not allow apps to write files to anywhere.
But in your case, Google Photos should be possible.

Patch 2816 installed, and no problem.....

New patch works fine on my platform too.
Not really I'm afraid, the bottle neck of video editing/producing performance is still the CPU and GPU codec, even I/O speed (SSD helps a lot).
The 3D rendering power and tons of VRAM are good to your 3D applications, not video editing.
It's NVIDIA's issue in previous discussions, so I guess PowerDirector cannot help here.

The most important point is, for multimedia, Intel GPU does better than NVIDIA, I don't see any signiticant benefit to use NVIDIA for video editing.
Hi Nathan,
Actually PowerDirector never claims to support MXF, you are lucky if you can edit it normally, maybe you have other codec link QuickTime installed?

Quote A possibility is to create an iso disc image.
However I suspect the viewer would need to be a little savvy and perhaps be able to play it on a network.

I do usually make an ISO file but my older sister doesn't have a computer and my Mother in Law (who sadly has just died at 102 years) wouldn't have had a clue. Once again thanks to all on this brilliant forum.
Pete

To the people who don't have enough computer skills, I rather put the video to my NAS and just send them an URL...easier to everyone.
Quote Using powerdirector for Android andaI can't seem to figure out how to add an effect but have it stop after a few secondss- can only seem to have it run whole video - how can I made it?

You need keyframe controls, but it's not there now, I suggest you to split your clip (the button on the left side when clip is selected) then apply fx.
Quote I just purchased PD16 for the express purpose of importing video files captured from my home security system that have sound. They are HVEC files saved with the .265 mp4 format and other software clearly sees the sound. The import seems to not understand the sound format.

PD16 shows no audio information for the file. What a waste of 70 dollars. The reason I bought it is because it said it would import these files. Without sound they are worthless.

I guess you mean HEVC video.
First, the video codec and audio codec are 2 different things, PowerDirector supports HEVC (aka H.265), no problem.
But what audio codec is it? If it is ADPCM, install QuickTime then PowerDirector can support it.
My dashboard camera has that codec and QuickTime really helps.
Quote Hello
I would like ask about any chance on the future update app for make 4k or 2k on 60fps??

It will be in Settings if your device has the capability.
Quote

Any ideas on the 4K vs 5.7K resolution? PD 16 seems to deal with 4K - don't see any way to work with 5.7K resolution.

I app;reciate your help.

Alan

Would you please share a short 5.7k raw video? I would like to give it a try.

Quote Hi Axwack -

The Screen Recorder that is provided with PDR15 maxes out at 30 fps. but the most recent one (with PDR16) can record up to 60fps.

Cheers - Tony

I guess without buying their upgrade you can't get that separately?

Yep.
Moreover, game recording is tricky, especially your game is running in exclusive mode.
Anyway, try the free trial before upgrading.
Quote Screen Recorder - to have time setting option, for example: If set to record for 60 mins, it will automatically stop recording when 60 mins is reached.

I wonder which case do you use this feature?
There is no standard for 360 video on disc so far.
Technically you can, but I bet you won't like the results......
Quote Hi All,
I tried to search but couldnt find the answer. Is it possible to create an ultra-wide video from two cameras? For example, I want to take two 170 degree action cameras and combine/overlap them to create a single 250 degree video. Is it possible? If so, how?

Just drag them to timeline and resize & put them together.
But you will get a letterbox video after all.
