There are totally separate products and are paid through different channels (e.g. Apple Store and Cyberlink), so you would likely need to cancel the Mac subscription from the Apple Store and then subscribe to the Windows version via your CL account.

I don't think this is a new issue. The waveforms in PD have always been crude approximations, with the data actually stored as text characters rather than any kind of true waveform.

As a test, I took the old Skateboard sample clip and used the Audio Editor in both PD17 and PD365 and compared the resulting waveform to an original copy placed on the track below.

As you can see in the screenshot, the new waveform has significant distortions where the volume is loudest - for some reason there are many negative-only peaks when they were symmetrical in the original. Also the timing of the edited clip has shifted ahead by about one and a half seconds



I don't know whether Cyberlink will fix the issue or not, but it's worth reporting it directly to them. You can reach their tech support here.
Simply hold down the Ctrl key to zoom in/out on the timeline with the mouse wheel. You can also use the +/- keyboard shortcuts.

There is a 2 second minimum duration when importing videos, so make sure you record longer than that and simply trim the clips on the timeline.

You can attach more clips recorded in different formats as well, and that should help to understand what's going on

If you run into any unexpected issues, you should be able to roll back to the older Intel driver from within Windows Device Manager.
That chart is a comparison of Windows versions. Please refer to FAQ #11 to see the current limitations of the Mac version.
That message can come up based on some specific settings in the export profile. Maybe first try using the Profile Analyzer on the Export page and choose one of the Best Matched Formats.

Another possibility is that there are problems with Windows and/or one of your GPU drivers.

Your Intel driver is 5 years old but Acer has decided to not provide any updated versions. You may want to try downloading the current version from Intel. The installation steps are here (use the Zip file option if you are blocked from installing the .exe version).

You may also want to run the steps in this post to resolve problems with Windows' core files and also do a clean reinstall of your nVidia driver.
I assume you mean Microsoft's OneDrive, and that's simply the default location that PD uses. You're free to change that to any folder you want, either on a per-project basis or as a default. To change the Export to: folder, simply click on Settings (the gear icon) then click on File.

Note that none of your source clips are ever moved, changed, copied, or stored elsewhere on your computer. If you DO want to save a copy of them with your project file, be sure to use File | Pack Project Materials and then pick your desired location.
There are very few users of ActionDirector on the forum, and I think you should contact CL tech support to resolve your issues. You can reach them here.
They only way you can force someone to come back to a particular viewpoint in a full 360° video is to cut the clip on the timeline and then set a new starting view. You can do this with a transition, which can smooth the (potential) position shift or you can clearly bring it to the viewer's attention.

If you want to show the viewer a specific "route" through your video, you'd want to produce to normal 2d video while using keyframes to keep the interesting scences and objects visible.
You can change the text and graphics color of these kinds of pre-made titles, but to add or change any other features you'd need to start over and create a new title using the Title Designer.

I have PD13, 14, 17 and 365 running on Win11 but other people have reported problems. You can try uninstalling/reinstalling PD18, and you might also want to try the steps listed in this post.

This is an old thread. What version of PD are you using? Have you tried producing without hardware acceleration?
There are several ways to do this, and whenever you're not sure of how to doe something the quickest answers can usually be found in the online help system, which can be accessed by pressing the F1 key

Although I'm using PD365 and not PD20, a search for crossfade brings up 6 answers - with the #2 being the most relevent for you.
I'm not clear on why you'd want to re-open your produced video clips in PD, but if it's to start a new project, you'd simply import the clip(s) from their current location and edit as usual.

If instead you're asking about reopening an existing project after you've moved the source files, you'll need to use the Browse tool that will appear when you reopen the project in PD and it can't find the clips in their original location. Once you've located them, be sure to save the project (or use Save As) so the clips' locations will be retained.

Finally, if you're asking how to always be able to open up projects without having to track down where the original clips have been moved (or if they've actually been deleted), you'd want to first use Pack Project Materials from PD's File menu and specify a folder where copies of all project materials will be stored.
As Warry mentioned, direct uploading to YouTube from within PD has several limitations, including not being able to mark the video as unlisted. YT also changes their API every so often which requires an update to PD.

When I've tested the feature to help answer forum questions, authorizing the upload has typically gone smoothly and I don't remember seeing those kinds of screens. You may want to contact CL tech support to see if they can help you out.
The answer is still no. Any hyperlink access needs to be configured on (and provided by) the viewing platform, as in the youTube example I mentioned in my post above
Hi Warry. I've tried to replicate your results but so far I haven't been able to. Maybe I found a different issue though.

At first I created a Test A project in a Test A folder and used sample clips in the root directory of the same drive. There were no problems opening that project when double clicking it after renaming the Test A folder to Test B, and no issues when opening the new Test B project from the same folder.

I then moved the clips from B:\ to B:\Test B and both projects opened normally even though the file pointers no longer referenced the correct location. I assume it's because PD was able to find them in the same folder as the project. This was true even after I changed the Import folder setting to a different drive.

I then created a new folder called Sample Clips and moved the clips there, and this time PD was unable to locate them. I went through the steps of creating a Test B1 project but again, everything went normally whether I opened the project from within PD or double-clicked on it in File Explorer.

In your tests, what folder are the sample clips located in? TESTA/B or a separate folder?
I think it depends on what you mean by "presets" as PhD has a proprietary format for importing and exporting to PhD running on another computer (.pdadj files).

If you're talking about Color Look-up Tables (CLUTs), however, PhD acccepts a wide variety of those as shown in the online help system (which can be accessed by pressing the F1 key).
