Reference thread: https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/85481.page .
There have been the newer NewBlue packs that have been reported to be working with PowerDirector in this and in FB PD Users forums even if it is not listed as compatible.
NewBlue has been giving away the CartoonR Plus plugin for free until July 31, 2021. Check your mailbox if you are a registered user or subscriber to their mail. Here is the link: https://newbluefx.com/products/stylizers/cartoonr-plus/?utm_source=marketo&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=EMAIL-freeplugin-cartoonr-r1-71321&mkt_tok=MDg2LUpQSS0yNTEAAAF-P9KfGbu_iBZ8kzNOP9171RJU3qBn6laB8_zUyEVrC_7AU5L509jF9GsWTJvomsZnx7qOLRMyvA8jPr4eBYSWZ_qi9MVHlXyIaHKTcw . You need the code to reduce the price to $0.00 and get the download link. This plugin works in Cyberlink PowerDirector as a fx and also works in the other editors listed as compatible too.
Check out this link. Edited and produced in PowerDirector using the NewBlue Cartooner Plus: https://youtu.be/u923hCB2IeU .

[quotePostId=353668]On my laptop, Power 2 Go 13 Pltinum starts and shuts down at first display
showing a message about resolution problems.
I'm at 1680x1050
I do not look forward to changing resolution every time I run the program
Any possibiity of an update/patch for this?[/quotePostId]
This is a user forum and not Cyberlink support. See the spec. on P2Go13: https://www.cyberlink.com/products/power2go-platinum/specs_en_US.html .You already exceed the minimum required resolution. Check for the color depth setting.
There is already a patch available at the support website. Create a support ticket for further help

Place the scrubber where you want on the track. Highlight any clip in the media library and the rectangular white on black button appears just on top of the timeline about one inch from the left. See the screenshot as shown in circled red in the manual.
|
|
In addition to what StevenG said, you could use the method shown in the help guide to place any clips or groups of clips you selected or highlighted on the timeline of the selected track by clicking that black highlighted button the next time on a new project. That is the shortcut most users know about: https://help.cyberlink.com/stat/help/powerdirector/19/enu/07_01_01_adding_video_clips_an.html?q=add+clip . I do it all the time.

Since you asked the downloaded transitions, it is in your pc folder
C:\Users\”your pc”\Documents\CyberLink\PowerDirector\19.0\MyTrans
That would be the location of created or modified custom transition files. Eton27 last post on this thread has the right answer. You just need to continue to the Downloaded Transition folder where you find folders named Transition starting with the 001 suffix.

I believe that it is standard behavior of Windows 10 since at least 2 years ago to back up anything in the photos and documents folders to the one drive to protect everyone. It is not the default behavior of my win 10 laptop purchased back in 2015. It is best that you pony up the monthly fees to Microsoft for this service since one only gets a limited amount of GB storage for free. Cyberlink temp files are in the documents folder by default.
Cyberlink software temp files are backed up to the win 10 use of onedrive. I had to disable this since I use a 8 GB external drive for backup storage. Look up on the internet how if you want to do this. My newer software installations like office 365 still use the onedrive for storage and the hard drive for backups only.

BTW: I recall this same issue asked about 4 months ago so I did a search on this forum and got 113 hits. It was solved by optodata on his last comment after a two page thread here: https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/20/15095.page . That should be the method of import if you have .m4v files. I never responded in that post as I have no issue at all with my method of importing and did not experience it.
|
|
I have never had a problem importing .m4v files to PD. It is the default export format of HandBrake unless one changes it to .mp4 in preferences. While this is the case with File/Import/Media Files… it is not the method I use. Simply click and drag any or groups of files, including .m4v to the media library from Windows File Explorer. They work just fine on the timeline.

Hi, the VCR is an LG LV900I. It has SCART connections only.
Thank you for supplying the model number of the vcr. See the listing: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/LG-LV900IVHS-VCR-Video-Recorder-Video-Doctor-6-Head-HiFi-100-working-GC/274701406538 . This is a vhs vcr that does not have the s-vhs capability or connection so there will be no chroma pin connection on the s-video jack of the scarts adapter so you will only have luminance or the b&w info only. There is no need to use another s- video cable to check.

I saw your video it was what I need accept witha particle background.
I have never created a particle template with a spinning jpg in the background. I know that it can be done as a PiP Motion object as I have one among the many thousands in the DZ. You may want to fill out a request form on Maliek’s YT tutorial link for him to create a tutorial for you. You may want to create it yourself and show others how to do it as a particle template.

|
I have a jpg rotating on a video background. Is that close enough… There are the rotation settings in the PiP designer that I used. See the attachment.
PowerDirector University (Maliek) has tons of video tutorials on how to accomplish this and more on his YouTube channel.

The capture works best with the Xp version of MovieMaker if your tapes are degraded. You may also want to search this forum for the answers if you want higher quality captures and lip synced audio.

Anhang beachten.
In English:
In PiP designer It is much smoother to create or modify a motion path in a curve and use both the ease in and ease out. Keyframe the scale for the stork size. 3 needed for start, middle, and end. See the attachment.

In English: It may be possible. The minimum for ease in/out is about 2 seconds for it to work. Position and Scale are keyframed every 2 seconds here using PiP designer. PiP designer/Object settings/Ease out checked for the first position keyframe and Ease in for the last position keyframe. See the attached result.
Warry’s answer in English on your other post can be used here too.

That is nothing to worry about. It is a new feature in the Microsoft Edge Browser as it receives periodic updates. The latest updates give the messages you posted because the cyberlink effects extractor is not installed in the edge browser. I simply choose to save them in my designated Download folder if that message pops up. If it bothers you or is confusing then use a different browser like Chrome to avoid this.
Do what you did a year ago. Simply go to the download folder later with file explorer and double click on that .dzt file to install that title. You will notice that the .dzt file has no descriptive file name. That is just a change and it is of no concern. You can rename it to whatever you want.

I believe that you need to stay away from auto settings from both cameras. Some people’s eyes are sensitive to video that does not have that motion blur. Others are just fine with it. You need to use manual settings for shutter speeds, say 1/60 for 30 fps, 1/125 for 60 fps video and you should be fine as suggested by jmone.
Assuming that your hands were steady and not shaking badly when recording the video which is another story that needs to be solved if that is the case.

I supplied a slightly different link for the same Hotfix to a different user earlier today in this post: https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/84202.page#post_box_353354 . The step 4 link in that post works, same as the one supplied by Jeff. Both links downloaded that zip file just fine here.
|
|
You replied inside my quotes causing a word formatting problem on this post. Your response need to be outside my quotes.
[Formatting now corrected - PDM]
The Hotfix is in CLAud_Exy.zip linked in step 4 of this sticky post along with the instructions: https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/84991.page .
MediaInfo is available free online here: https://mediaarea.net/MediaInfoOnline . Upload your short problem clip and then download the Mediainfo report to attach here on your next reply. The app. can also be downloaded from the Microsoft store here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/mediainfo/9nk81654hhv5?activetab=pivot:overviewtab .
|
|
Your use of the WMP leads one to suspect that you are using Windows 7 as your operating system. The clips probably have ac-3 or Dolby Digital audio. Suggestion would be for you to upgrade to Windows 10 or to buy a new computer.
If that is not the problem then use Mediainfo(freeware) to get the video and audio information and attach the text result on your next reply.
|
|
I believe that there is a rule of thumb for panning that it should take at least 7 sec. For an object that appears at the left edge of a video to appear at the right edge and vice versa for a smooth pan.
|
|
The text layers that Maliek is referring to is in Title Designer. There is a +T button at the top. Click on it to add a new layer. Add text to this layer and move the start of it to the right so that it appears after the first layer displays. Do the same above to add another layer. Use the help screen or follow his PD University tutorials on this.
StevenG’s method also works. You only need 2 or 3 tracks if you plan and stagger the titles properly.
Hope this help.
