Quote After dealt with serious issue https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/97203.page now I am facing another issue, this is about not playing normal blu-ray(not UHD bluray) on my new PC with powerDVD17. My pc Build with intel UHD graphic(12th generation i9 12900 series )

According to your Advisor.jpg screenshot, your pc can play normal blu-ray discs. Read that top paragraph.
For a 16:9 Aspect Ratio project, 720/60p simply means 1280 x 720 resolution at 60 frames a second. Same meaning for the other one.
On the top right of the PD14 Edit page, click the blue bell notification button in front of the word PowerDirector to check for updates available for the Steam version. If none is available then contact Cyberlink support. They will give you the updates for free. You may also supply them with the link to this thread so that they are aware of your problems so far.
Smartfit for a 16:9 Aspect ratio project may be desired. You may want to look into creating an AVCHD Disc on DVD. This is 720/60p and 1080/60p quality on a DVD. No BD drive is needed, just a plain DVD drive. The created disc can be played from any pc with only a DVD drive and on higher end Sony standalone BD players. You can create them with low bitrates like 6 to 8 Mbps video to fit that 90 minute project on a DVD+R DL.

Read the help files in PD19 to help get you started.
Thank you for supplying the Dxdiag.txt. You are using an earlier build of PD14.02820.0. You got many crashes on PD14. The latest patch to build 4207 can help and is available here: https://www.cyberlink.com/support/index.html . The nvidia graphics driver is too recent to allow hardware encoding in PD14 but it is okay for creating discs.
See this sticky: https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/85748.page#post_box_354916 and attach the DzDiag.txt and the PD14 version numbers on your next reply for further help.

The pc is 13 years old and may have accumulated a lot of dust inside and/or the fans need to be serviced. You may have to do some cleaning.
On a windows pc, the screenshot would indicate that the audio volume is clipping and the green line above the timeline may indicate automatic render preview which happens with a weak graphics card. The fix would be to update the amd gpu driver.

Since this is a Mac, if updating the gpu driver does not fix it then contacting Cyberlink support may be the best option as there may not be that many Mac users with PD365.
If you do not have a previous working project to create an image, then it is possible that the clips at the beginning of the timeline are corrupted. Menu creation ends at 20%. Video creation starts at 20% to 99%.

To test this, place a single unrelated different clip on the timeline, select no menu, and try to create that image. It should work and take only a few minutes to find out.
There may be a desired benefit to having a nvidia graphics card like the gtx 2060 or 3060 minimum as video and audio denoise tools, fx tools can utilize them to speed up processing and rendering.

The Ryzen 7 cpu can have integrated graphics that can speed up some of the fx tools and in rendering but not have the other speedup features requiring a nvidia gpu.

Many users claim a 3 to 8x reduction in production time with a nvidia gpu. Look for a laptop with the desired Ryzen cpu but with a high end nvidia gpu.
Try this: Select no menu and try it again. Let us know if this works now. If it doesn’t then load up a previous working Blu-ray project and try to burn that image. This will help to narrow down the problem.
Quote An odd thing I've noticed is that the menu alternatives seem to be faulty somehow. I can't shift picture from the start menu preview to the chapter menu preview. I can shift menu templates, but I can't change anything in the menu, like changing the title "My video" to something else. Only top menu and first chapter page can be changed. This menu problem is new and happened for the first time when this burning problem then started. However, the short file mentioned also has a menu and it worked.

The 20% crash problem you indicated is caused by the menu. Replace the menu with a known previous working one. Better still. Preview the menu in the Create Disc page. Many times the menu will not play properly as viewed when there is a problem in later versions of PD.

Menus should be edited properly. The Content/Menu Structure button allows you to rename each chapter title if desired once a proper menu is in place. I rarely use this feature as it can be slow and takes a powerful pc to make it bearable. There is no problem for me to edit the titles using the Preview screen. The background can move or shift if you choose the proper fx while in the Menu Designer.

I would prefer to Create a folder instead of an image as this allows one to analyze the files for any problems without having to mount an image to see the BD structure.

Hope this helps...
I find that PD365 is not exactly stable. Read the recent post about motion trails and find that enabling motion blur with title designer causes a crash in title designer when played. Already have a few tickets open. Not sure starting a new ticket is going to help. I am sure that they may have their hands full.
Quote I would have thought a monthly subscription is just that, pay monthly.

Many thanks
Brian

The monthly subscription plan is $19.99 a month which is about $240 a year. It’s up to you to choose either the monthly or discounted annual plan which is much less like $49. You need to click Buy Now to see your payment options. No one here can tell you otherwise.
See this FAQ for the answer: https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/85755.page#post_box_354949 . See the Note.
I typed up a response that appeared in the Community Forum Issue titled “Converting old 720 x 480 mp4 file to 1080p & Improve Quality - Grainy & Color Issues”. That post has since disappeared.

I created a split screen video to demonstrate what can be done in PD20/365 to answer that question in the PD Forums. The original captured video is from a VHS tape, a 720 x 480 resolution mp4. Fix/Enhance Video Denoise is set to 100, Edge Enhancement set to 100, Color Enhancement set to 100. The video was produced with a custom 1440 x 1080 6 Mbps video setting. See the sharpness increase in the woman’s eye in the right Enhanced half of the video. YouTube link to the video: https://youtu.be/-GMTbaB1VI4 .
I find that the Nvidia Game Play recordings are too dark . Don’t think that I am using it properly. The Cyberlink screen recorder works well. Maybe a gamer can help here.
English: You may want to use a different graphics card as I recall 4K60p video is the maximum resolution and frame rate for the older Intel integrated graphics. It may be less for the 7 years older Intel graphics. Windows 8.1 is 7 years old.

Use this link to see the details of the video file in question: https://mediaarea.net/MediaInfoOnline .Download the media report and paste it as an attachment here on your next reply. Need to know the details to help.
If your product is a subscription then there is no need to register it as it appears in Manage my subscription under the same email address.
Reference Post: https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/0/97183.page#390937 .

Last year I posted the NewBlue Giveaways : Cartooner Plus, Elements 3 Energize, and Filters 5 Refocus during the PD19/365 rein. The same fx installed are available and worked in PD17 and in the free PD Essentials. Went to a PD365 subscription this year and find that those NB effects available in the Essentials have disappeared just like the Boris FX I reported in an earlier post.

Has anyone seen the same result after buying or upgrading to PD20/365?? No one else has posted about this.
Try the fx color preset Dreamy and the color LUTS Color Pop 01 - 12, Color Tone 01 - 12. Amount of correction is adjustable from 0 to 100%.

More bad news for PD20/365 users. I was going to suggest that Matt use the free NewBlue Effects Giveaways I posted last year. They show up for use in PD17 and PD Essentials and can be used in both. After getting the subscription, they no longer show up in the PD365 but still show up and are usable in PD17.

I just went through this with the Boris fx missing with CS.
