OK...at least you know who should be blamed

Try to update VGA driver first.
Does it work correctly if only connect the 3D monitor?
You don't need to install all the patches, the latest one includes all the changes.

BTW, I have a HERO3, PowerDirector 12 works with its clip perfectly.
I think "XAVC S" is just a fancy name of 4K resolution H.264 in .MP4

You can check the "Versatile shooting w/ XAVC-S, AVCHD and MP4 codecs" on the right side.

but "XAVC"? It uses .MXF so that's another story for professional guys
The motion tracking in Color Director is for creating mask.
Quote: This started shortly after the bug fix 2420 was added. I can uninstall that update and should I ?

Did you try the latest beta patch 2527?

Don't use K-Lite, it may mess up your system sometimes.
PowerDirector has its own codec, no need to install others.
Remember to choose Haswell (the 4th gen. Core i) kernel.
hmmm, that means current PowerDirector does not support High DPI scaling...in Windows OS, that is a feature to software, not a bug.
The bundled PiP animated templates are continuous images, not a video.

I suggest you to produce it to video first if you need further editing.
It depends, my player can play lossless format like FLAC, that's my best choice.

For compression format, AAC(.m4a) has better algorithm than MP3 and PowerDirector can encode it.
You should try SONY camcorder with B.O.S.S. stabilizer (not every model has it), it is amazing.
Correct, no matter you want to output to Blu-ray Disc or AVCHD (could be on a flash drive or memory card).
Get a HERO3+, its WiFi control is much faster than the old ones.
1. Did you install the latest patch?
http://www.cyberlink.com/support/powerdirector-ultra/patches_en_US.html

2. Did you disable the title/particle track in Edit page (the checkbox next to track number)?

3. Did you try to disable hardware video encoder before producing file?

must have to edit Christmas videos!
v12 has a patch to workaround NV's driver issue.
So you won't be suffered.
don't use nVidia's new driver, it's a known issue.
http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/30660.page
what profile do you use?
nVidia can accelerate up to FullHD resolution, Intel Haswell HD4200~5200 can up to UltraHD, but I heard IvyBridge with new driver can support UltraHD too.
the 4th gen Haswell can support 4K hardware decode and encode and AVX2 instructions acceleration, it greatly helps.

Ivy Bridge can support 4K hardware encode only in some cases.
do you install Apple QuickTime?
I can import your MOV correctly.
