I can burn a single disk but can not burn two or more disks after creating a project.

I get the error message when it is about 95% done during the authoring progress. I HAVE BEEN USING THIS PRODUCT SINCE VERSION 9 AND IT WAS NEVER A PROBLEM IN THE PAST. I EVEN WAS ABLE TO USE VER 12 FOR AWHILE BUT THEN ONE DAY THIS PROBLEM DEVELOPED. This started shortly after the bug fix 2420 was added. I can uninstall that update and should I ?

I have sent several emails via a trouble ticket and they really do not seem to be much help, if any. Actually none as i have been waiting for 5 days to my last request for help.

i really like this product and used Adobe premier 6.0 before this and I never issues. It was a memory hog and slow but it worked.

youout04:

Welcome to the PD12 Forum. A very strange problem. Try reducing your burn speed in the options menu on the final screen where you actually commence your burn. Alternately, try burning to a folder and then use another product like Power2Go or Imgburn (free) to actually burn your disks.

You can also purchase a product called Phantom Drive to emulate a Blu-ray (or DVD/CD) disk and burn to it, and from there, burn to your BDs or DVDs. Saves making coasters, and BD coasters are expensive.

Let us know how you make out. Have a great day.

thanks for response. i did burn to a folder and that will work. Did not know I could do that. I also am trying burning at a lower speed. It says it is burning at a 16 speed but it is interesting that when there is an unsuccessful burn I read the speed and it says 22. So it seems that if the burn is unsuccessful that this happens. Is there another place I can go to set the speed.

The cyber folks said they are working on the issue but that is all. Not much help yet. I am pretty sure I did not install any new programs during the time when this started which was back in December 2013.

I will keep trying but any thoughts you might have or anyone is appreciated.

I haven't tried burning a Blu-Ray yet but want to know if I can make a disc image or burn to a folder and then I can burn as many discs as I want.? I don't want to have to render from the timeline each time I burn a Blu-Ray. Or make copies from the one copy that I render. I don't want to buy Phantom Burner if not needed but I will if I have to.
Thanks

Hi Martygene,
Yes if you un-tick burn to disk and tick burn to folder after the process is finished you can use that folder to burn
as many copies as you wish but through a 3rd party software as Pd doesn't support burning from folder.
Imdburn is free and quite good.

I guess I didn't mean to hijack a thread but it seemed to me to be about the same theme as that of the thread.
