Hi eveyone,
Just an update.

CyberLink have add an FAQ about the NV issue:
http://www.cyberlink.com/support/product-faq-content.do?id=16772

They're advising users to roll back to the previous Nvidia driver 331.58 as the current solution.

CyberLink are currently investigating the cause and will look for a solution to the pre-rendering issue. As stated above, users should roll back to an earlier working driver.

Although I'm using 331.65 the issue hasn't occurred to me yet, but I won't hesitate to roll back to 331.58 if and when it does. Posting here in hopes that when a solution is available someone will post it on this thread and I'll be notified. Dell Precision 7510 Laptop

The issue is present with the latest NVidia beta driver (331.93) as well. An update from Cyberlink looks like the only way to use the newer drivers.

Hi, Dafydd,

Downloaded and installed this 2327 beta patch.

Using PD12 under Windows 8.1, I'm happy to see that my main issue with the continual pre-rendering has disapeared after installing the last Nvidia driver (331.82). No more problem when I read the timeline.

Good job..... Jean-Paul

Hello Dafydd,

I hope that CyberLink will not forget all their customers that are still using PowerDirector 11 and have the same problem with the Nvidia drivers and issue a patch.

Thank you very much for your help.

Jean

Why is there no official response for Ver. 11?
(In the ver. 11 thread).

We have the same problem.

I purchased this pd12 ultimate 1 month ago, i had a windows7 with 3.70Ghz 8G ram nvidia Geforce 640, i had this pre render problem, then i thought updating to 64 bit windows 8 will fix, but now is worse, i send to the support all the details they want, includes my PD12 ode. Please do a solution for this pre rendering issue, if the nvidia is the problem make a patch and your costumer like us will continue your product.
