My TVmediaplayer shows the same annoying info a few seconds when starting a video file, no way to turn it off. To avoid that this overlays my video, I always add 5 seconds of black at the beginning of a PDproject.

In Audiodirector you can pan audio also here:

Where can I find the "Jessica" and "Mauro" Lowerthird Animation in PD365 used in this: "What's New & FAQ" video from CyberLink: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xI0vi6mCisc& ?

After the creation of the slideshow (at the start of your project) you always can drag it to another timelineposition, as required.
|
|
I also like the progress the Timeline has made.
I also would like to see that it's possible to remove those unused tracks, there are always at least 3 video+audio tracks, used or not.
Next thing I would like to see implemented is a keyboard hotkey to quickly add video or audio tracks only.
Q: what's the meaning of these red dots

During a session, my camera was inadvertently set to 4x3 and I can only submit 16x9 video. I did a test and it will look fine zoomed in and cropping to create 16x9..
I have about 2 dozen clips.
Is it easiest just to use the Crop/Zoom tool on each individual clip?
Thanks!
I think the easiest and fastest way is to use the PIP Designer for this. Open the first video in PIP Designer and set scale Width to 1.000 (make sure that Maintain Aspect Ratio is selected). Leave PIP Designer and right click the clip on the timeline and select Copy Keyframes Attributes. Now select all other 4:3 videos on the timeline and right click again and select Paste Keyframe Attributes.,. Done.

When you want to use PD19 for the rest of your life, than buying a lifetime license is the better option. When you want to use always the latest and uptodate PD, than the subscription model is the better option.
I jumped this year to the subscription model (after three lifetime models which I don't use anymore) and I'm glad I did.

Than I probably do not understand the purpose of this fade-in/out buttons. I thought I could use them to create quickly smooth volume duckings at certain positions in my audio clips.

It may be better to create an animated sequence with transparent png files in a saved nested loop with each being 1 or 2 frames in duration like those slow and long time lapse sequence videos that users create. The saved nested loop allows you to reuse it in other parts of your timeline as needed like a PiP object.
Would be an option, but unfortunately the nested loop looses it's transparency when nested into another project.

OK, I tried this somewhat cumbersome solution which is limited to about a 150 frames image sequence. I hoped it would be more userfriendly.

If you think you've found any bugs, it's actually best to file an official report from CL's main support page.
You can also mention them here to confirm that other people see them; determine if they might be related to something specific with your system or your source clips; see if other members are aware of any workarounds; and let the community know what you found.
OK, will try to explain (difficult without screenshots) following also audio related issue. When I have an audio file in the timeline and go to the Audio Mixing room, I have the possibility to make an automatic (2sec) fade-in or fade-out for the track the audio is on the timeline at momentary position of the cursor. When cursor is at the start of the audio clip, clicking the fade-in button will create a correct 2 sec fade-in with 2 keyframes, but when the cursor is somewhere in the middle of the audio clip clicking the fade-in button will generate a jumpy fade-in with 3 keyframes. The fade-out button creates always correct fade outs with 2 keyframes nevertheless the position of the cursor on the timeline.

You can let CL know how you feel about Audio Editor by using Rate Us & Provide Suggestions under PD's File menu.
Done. Is this also the place to inform CL about discovered bugs or not correct working tools, and/or should I also report such things here?

In the Video Overlay (PIP) room there are some animated objects, which are actually sequences of .png images. (with transparancy).
Is there a possibility to add my own animated image sequence to this library? When I try to create new animated object it only accepts a single image and not a sequence of images. This would be very helpfull when possible.

Not sure I understand your question correctly,
I'm having the normal PD365 subscription, no PD365 Suite, which just comes with (the really dissapointing and poor) Audio editor. A simple channel swap, channel combine (stereo 2 mono) or channel balance panning is not possible. Basic features for an audio editor.

My question is, is there a quick way to combine the channels easily in PD365?
So when I understand the answers right, there is no way to do this in PD365 (without Audiodirector)?

Adding motion blur goes great with RSMB plugin from https://revisionfx.com/products/rsmb/ .
Despite the availability of this plugin for a lot of NLE's, unfortunately for PD it's not available.

No need to go to PIP designer, just set the grid to 3X3 and snap to that grid in the preview window when resizing/placing each videoclip that has been put on the timeline.

Sie können Cyberlink wissen lassen, dass Sie mehr Seitenverhältnisse haben möchten und/oder in der Lage sein, das Seitenverhältnis selbst aus Datei >Bewerten Sie uns & geben Sie Vorschläge
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
You can let Cyberlink know you'd like to have more aspect ratio choices and/or be able to set the aspect ratio yourself from File > Rate Us & Provide Suggestions
32:9 is a rather unusual aspect ratio, at least I have never heard of before. A 21:9 aspect ratio is more common and would be more useful te be implemented in PD.

Where can I find a good User Manual/Tutorial how to work with the Audio Editor, especially how to use the Dynamic Range Compression?

I would like to create my own presets and templates for titles, effects, transitions, particles etc. How is it done in PowerDirector, What skills, softwares and other resources are required to get started with this?
Creating your own presets is easy, just save your creation and it will become part of the library and usable in other projects. AFAIK there is no possibily to save own presets for FX.

CL just released v19.2.2222.0 for the subscription version, and the first thing I tested was this issue.
The good news is that newly created 3D titles everything works great, and all the 3D animations are available.
However, I had an issue the first time I opened up the test project from my earlier post. There weren't any start/end sections in the Title Designer timeline and the animation didn't work, so you may have to delete and recreate 3D titles from earlier PD19 projects.
Till now I didn't receive a notification for an update release!
OK, I see a notification when I open the Application Manager.
