If there is a popup when using the NBFX in PD365 then Go to Effects/Activation/Buy Now. One other alternative would be to start your project in PD16 using the desired NBFX, produce it and then import it to the PD365. Other users can suggest alternatives to the particular effects that you are seeking.
Could you please attach a screenshot or picture of your TV screen on your next reply so that users can see the 3 columns. Haven't seen that yet.

向您问好~
CyberLink团队已经帮我解决,但我只想问,未来,Steam购买的版本CyberLink PowerDirector 20 Ultimate + PhotoDirector 13 Ultra不会在更新吗?

You could use your steam client community to participate in the discussions or to ask questions for all to see since you purchased it through steam. From other user forums I believe that Cyberlink will give you the update if you have problems and contact them. Others that have no issues never get any automatic update. Your support is through steam and cyberlink.

The majority of pc users have the steam client. That is the community where you should ask your questions first.

It does seem that PD20 grouped the blending mode Analog Film 02 with the other fx effects. In the previous PD versions it was found in the Blending Mode instead. One can set the blend mode and opacity of the entire overlay used on a clip with the popup. Did not see anything in the help screen about this change.

It looks like you are expected to know that it is a video overlay in PD20 if you used an older version of PD previously. If you have say a clip longer than 10 seconds like a minute long then you need to highlight all 6 of those overlay clips to set the opacity and then go to Tools/Blending Mode. In the popup window click the down arrow and highlight each of the blending modes to see and then select the desired blend mode.

You may also want to use the other old film effects suggested by optodata.
The 4k clip was at 29.97 fps not the 60fps claimed which has no problem here.

D285 - You may want to click on the Titles to see more red dots. It simply means more titles or assets are available for download that you may want.
HenryC - That looks like the Windows 7 Windows Media Player in the screenshot. Both WMP and VLC in Windows 7 play those portrait videos sideways as the rotation flag is not recognized. Play the same videos in Windows 10 if you want to see them oriented correctly.
You could produce the video with two clips first and then place it on the timeline and place the 3rd clip.
This may help. I have 11. Select Music CD>Audio CD. Go Drag n Drop up to about 74 min. of music. I use audio files such as mp3. Put in a CDR. Go to Burning>Burn Disc.
On my PD20 the EnableHardTranscodeMonitor has the value (1) to enable FVRT as shown in optodata’s screenshot. It has the opposite value of (0) to enable FVRT as shown in the OP’s screenshot for all the previous versions of PD and that is what is posted on the internet. It is a faster way to enable the grayed out FVRT without having to set it the other way that is posted.
UAC was always act6ive in Vista. In Win 7 it is set to moderate as a default and never had any problem installing any Cyberlink software with it. No one else has reported it in win 7 Cyberlink software installation that I can recall. Maybe wait for other users to reply if UAC was a problem for them.
Maybe you should uninstall P2Go 8 first and then install P2Go13. Reboot the pc. I have always used the Win 7 media player to rip the CD’s to mp3 even with P2Go installed.

You could contact Cyberlink Support and start a ticket with them on the matter to see if they can help you to resolve the problem on your pc.
See this FAQ: https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/84928.page#post_box_351266 . You may need to uninstal it from the first computer as suggested.

The pc is powerful for it’s time in 2012. The cpu and gpu are limited to FHD resolution of 1920 x 1080 and the video standards of that time which does not include H.265. If the latest AMD 21.xx drivers are used in win 10 then there would be no hardware encoding of H.264. The mpeg-4 h.265 encoding must be done by the cpu only which is very slow. The produced h.265 video should play just fine on a modern pc. It will be choppy on this pc though.

Mpeg-2 and h.264 produced FHD videos should play just fine on this pc.
I have not seen a portable dvd player marketed that is embedded on a flash drive. You can just Choose to Create a folder in the final burn window and then copy the contents to a usb flash drive. That folder can be played with the vlc player on any pc just like it was on a disc.

I create avchd and BD folders (much higher resolution) the same way which can be played with vlc.
Quote I have two video sources: my phone and a drone.

Simple objective is to save to DVD and show on a DVD player.

None of my iPhone videos are 2048 x 1080p. DVD resolution is 720 x 480/60i mpeg-2 which may show jagged lines as it is an interlaced format. You may want to consider the AVCHD setting to create avchd folders or disc on DVD which includes both 720/60p and 1080/60p resolution instead. They can be played on PowerDVD and on higher end blu-ray players.
Goody - Can U check to see what the frame rate might be set in Preference/General.
Quote I am reading a book to my Grandson, and editting it in CyberStudio. Basically, the "video" feed is a series of PNG and JPG files of pages that are stretched to cover the appropriate period in the audio track corresponding to those pages. I wanted to add a page turning transition between those pages. The program will not allow it, probably because it expects video, or keyframes or something.
What to I need to do to have transitions between image files?

It is not clear from the post whether you have a video or still images on the timeline. If they are images then it should be easy to add the cross behavior page curl transition between each image.

If You have a video instead then split it in sections where the next slide in the video starts. You can then add the same type transition as you would for the images. An alternative would be to create a snapshot of each slide and place them with the correct duration on a lower track. Set the opacity to 50% so you can see and position them with the correct duration. Set the opacity back to 100% to finish.
Thank you for supplying the invoice screenshot with the detailed information. The vat tax is equivalent to the sales tax that most Americans have to pay now on online purchases. The older Video Essentials I installed does show up in PD20. It is one of the packs installed previously.

It looks like NewBlue updated their installation software even on the Classics vault to make them not compatible with all versions of PD. They already updated the installers on their newer software to make those not compatible with all versions of PD which happened when PD20 came out 2 months ago.

Someone in the FB PDU forum said the same thing about his very recent NB purchases not working but did not supply any detail like you did. This leads one to believe that future NB pack buyers will have the same issue.
The New Blue Essentials pack has been supplied with PD19 Ultimate and earlier PD Ultimate versions. Registering any NB Packs back then and the NB Essentials I pack was given to you as a free gift that you could take with you.Hindsight is that registering has these benefits but is not necessary. I find that the NB packs purchased and installed years ago are working in PD365. I don’t remember seeing NB Video Essentials I being sold for $59. It is still $49 in the USA on their website. I am therefore confused. Please let us know the exact name of the actual pack and the website where you purchased it.
1.Maybe no one has found a way yet to do that. Someone who has done that in their workflow should post. Reading the PD18 UG may help.

2. An experienced contributor has come up with an innovative way to remove the glass reflection in a video and replace it with an underlying image. You can do the same by chroma keying out the reflection so what image or video you want will show through that reflection.

Investing in a polarizing filter for the camera would allow the reflections to be suppressed before being recorded. Hope this help.
