I had an old version of Pwerdirector (V16) which has some Newblue FX included. Is there a way to use the FX on my current version of Powerdirector (V20 - 365)?

CL terminated their licensing agreement with NewBlue so PD20/365 no longer come with any NewBlue FX.

However, any FX that were purchased directly from NewBlue and any effects packs that came with previous PD versions will work normally in PD20/365 as long as the older PD version(s) remain installed on the computer.

I have Powerdirector (V16) still installed and working on my computer and the Newblue FX work fine with Powerdirector 16. But when I run the latest version of Powerdirector from my subscription the NewblueFX eseentials are not there.

If there is a popup when using the NBFX in PD365 then Go to Effects/Activation/Buy Now. One other alternative would be to start your project in PD16 using the desired NBFX, produce it and then import it to the PD365. Other users can suggest alternatives to the particular effects that you are seeking.

Try the steps as described in this post to restore full PD20/365 functionality.
