This has been driving me crazy since the update. After a few produced videos, I noticed my production times went to 5X the usual time.

I always had the Fast Video with Hardward (NVIDIA) checked and just noticed that in PD20, its gone.

I've tried all the online fixes with zero luck.

NVIDIA card is updated
Intel UHD GFX is updated
Registry has been edited and set the applicable to "0
Uninstalled, rebooted, and reinstalled.
All with zero luck on getting the "Fast Video...." to show up ungreyed out or allowing me to select which GFX to render with (Intel or NVIDIA).

Anyone else having this issue? This is driving me insane troubleshooting this.

I've never looked at the Simba registry keys but it looks like you've got several disabled. Try setting them like this:

If that doesn't help, please follow the steps in the Read Me Before Posting guide and attach the DxDiag results for your system.

On my PD20 the EnableHardTranscodeMonitor has the value (1) to enable FVRT as shown in optodata’s screenshot. It has the opposite value of (0) to enable FVRT as shown in the OP’s screenshot for all the previous versions of PD and that is what is posted on the internet. It is a faster way to enable the grayed out FVRT without having to set it the other way that is posted.
