Is it possible to have more than one effect on an image..

I have often had two sound trks with overlaps and use the vol contol to fade out one trk as the other is faded in.
I have done the same on PD13 and for some reason there is not a smooth transition as I used to have with PD12. No matter how I try there is still a momentary break in the audio rathe than the expected smmoth flow. If I switch of the audio of each trk independantly they play as expected with fade out on one and fade in on the other. See attached file ..any ideas?

Am I missing something! Sure I select the title that I first designed and inserted into the timeline and it loads ready for editing .. After my changes I cannot see any options for Save or Save As but I use the X to close the title designer and that is when I am givien a pop up msg (see attached file) which gives 3 options viz: to 1. Save and it always ask for a template name (which means entering again the same name as I first gave to the title) 2. Not to save and 3. Cancel which does not close the designer and allows me to continue editing. So I am none the wiser

It is a while since I used PD and I have now uograded from 12 to 13 Ultra. Whenever I insert a Title and add text/images etc. I have to give it a name in saving ( cannot recall having to do this with PD12) Also if ever I edit this titles then again upon saving I have to give it a name.. I must be doing something wrong or not understnad.
How do I create a tile with text and images and motions and yet can readily alter it and not having to keep saving as a template title..help

I've seen how to insert Call Outs into a Title however on my Titles Templates . I have PD12 Ultra but cannot see any callouts. Do they only come with later versions.
Is there another way of adding callouts to an image on the timeline.

Thank you Carl.. that sorted it. I'll know in future that PD can be finicky on how it deals with mp3 files

I have often inserted mp3 sound files into time line with no problems. Lately however, I have had a problem of some sound files not being compatible ( see attached) . The files play OK on other audio players I have installed. Any ideas on solution most welcomed

I often insert txt and images into a title. Sometimes I want to have perspective scroll on txt but the image prevents some of it from being seen. Is it possible to set which of the txt or image comes to the forground and which to the back as you can do in other programs

I tried adding a video .avi file to play on my menu but received msg that format was not accepted. What file type should I use. I'm sure I have used AVI before

Producing a new project and once completed the timeline decided to divide into 3 separate projects.
Two of the newly created projects are Ok but for some reason the third project is not playing any sound from the video clips.
The sound track shows the sound waveform but nothing coming through. Any ideas
The video and sound plays ok if played on windows media player

Thank you for speedy reply, however as I noted I tried all his AR settings and none of them showed full picture as my TV's did

I initially developed a project and sized all my images and video to maximum (above the dotted line for TV safe mode). The play back on the PC was fine but on TV play many of my titles were either truncated in width or just off the bottom of the screen. I edited the entire project re-sizing all images and video to fit within the 16:9 TV safe area. I also ensured that any txt titles were within this frame. On my LG 40" and my LG 32" TV's everything is fine. However when my neighbour (who I made the project for) plays on his Panasonic Viera 40" set to AR of 16:9 any title txt that I set the full width of the photo is truncated on the left and the right. Also many titles txt that I placed just inside the dotted TV safe area are truncated at the bottom and only the top half can be seen. I tried all his TV AR settings and the Zoom only zoom out not in and the others are no better.
I just cannot fathom why it is OK on my two TV's but not on his. I suspect it is his TV that's the problem and not my design and settings in PD etc.
Has anyone come across this type of problem before and can offer a solution other than going through the entire project image by image and re-sizing by guess work ti fit the images and videos inside the dotted TV 16:9 Safe Area. Help!

I use titles and am happy with adding images and text and motion of txt. However I often want to add drawing items such as Arrows and lines, call outs, scrolls etc. I have not found out if this is possible.
Is it and how?

Am aware of the keyframe mbut sometimes I needed the sound to be louder than the max so boosted in Wave editor

A query on rendering timing..
I run PD12 under Windows 7/64 with 8Gb RAM Intel i3 CPU and an ATI Radeon HD 5770 graphics card
I have a project that is 90 mins running time. A good mix of video's and images and sound track all through the entire 90 mins.
Around 25 titles several Effects and lots of transitions..
It burns to a DL 8.5 GB dis OK it is just that it takes 10 hours to do so.
Is this reasonable for such a project and what I can expect for similar projects OR could it be that I have some incorrect settings or that my system is not really sufficient.
Any advise most welcome

GENERALLY it is when I wish to increase the volume of an audio trk on a video clip in the timeline. First I split the video and audio and then edit the audio with Wave Editor as I mentioned. Therefore the file that it is using is already on the hard drive and in the folder where all the source material is for the projects images sounds and videos.

Whenever I do any Importing Media function (mainly going to edit Audio with Wave Editor) I save the sound track OK and leave the Wave Editor OK and the importing Media display msg appears and often reads NOT responding but if a wait long enough it will eventually change to say 100% and return to PD 12. This can take up to 2- 2.5 minutes. Also the Importing Media msg box still stays on the screen although I can move it out of the way by the mouse. I would expect it to disappear.
Any ideas of what may be causing this problem

How do I remove the items and navigation buttons that I don't want?

Thank you 'playsound' Project was 16:9 changed to 4:3 and there it was. Inserted and then went back to 16:9 and adjusted for best fit

I found a pip template on the download zone and then installed
I cannot locate it in my PD libraries.tried Titles, Particles. Effects etc.
