I have often inserted mp3 sound files into time line with no problems. Lately however, I have had a problem of some sound files not being compatible ( see attached) . The files play OK on other audio players I have installed. Any ideas on solution most welcomed

Convert the MP3 file to WAV will solve any problem with a MP3 in PowerDirector.
Unless the MP3 file is corrupted.

MP3 audio files are a known problem in Powerdirector, some Work, some do not work.

Thank you Carl.. that sorted it. I'll know in future that PD can be finicky on how it deals with mp3 files
