Is there away to grab a music clip from a video that was posted on facebook. It was a straight download to facebook and not from you tube. Is the only way to get the music from a mic or is there away I can record it through audio director while it is playing.

I hope there is cause I do not like the mic sound as I get a small hiss

You need to download the video either straight from FB or use a downloader such as Freemake, which is free.
Then extract the audio using PowerDirector. Easy. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)
Nvidia GTX 960(4GB)/16GB DDR3/
Canon Vixia HV30/HF-M40/HF-M41/HF-G20/Olympus E-PL5.
Tape capture using 6 VCR, TBC-1000, Elite BVP4+, Sony D8 camcorder with TBC.

There are many other free downloaders, do a Goggle search, and then after you find the appropriate program/app, you can proceed in PowerDirector. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

Ok I found a audio convertor. But I still cannot figur out how to get the music off this video and into a file

Just import a video to AudioDirector, do what you want (trim, adjust pitch, etc.) then produce as audio file, it will do the rest. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PowerDirector 365

If you ever get the actual video, put it in the timeline and right-click. The menu will show a function to split the audio from the video. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

Hello laserdoc,

Both suggestions posted by BarryTheCrab and the King are good, & you'll get the result you're wanting. I've attached screenshots showing the basic steps in ADR & PDR.

You'd be aware that audio downloaded from FaceBook or YouTube has been processed/compressed, & that affects quality.

For downloading, I use software called 4K Downloader which allows you to download at maximum quality, or even convert to audio on the way (making the advice & screenshots a little redundant).
