MPG files have to be added to 2 tracks

I imported my video files (MPG) but when I drag and drop on the track, the video is green screen but the audio plays fine. If I drop the same file on to track 2 below it, then the video plays fine - audio too. Is there a setting so I only have to add the file to the one track? In previous verisons this never occurred?

Sounds like hardware decoder issue, have you tried t disable it in Preferences? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
