Hi, this is only my second use of the upgraded PD15 and I am experiencing the following errors:
- When adding a clip to the timeline I get a framerate conflict error message. I recorded using 30fps yet it states my clip is 23.976 fps. When I attempt to adjust the project frame rate as suggested, I am not finding an option to support the clips' fps.
- After adding a 3rd clip to the timeline & performing a trim to the beginning of that clip, there is a delay in the clip and it freezes while the audio continues to play, and vice versa. I could not get past this very same error in the last video I produced using PD15 for the first time, and it remained in my produced video on YT...not a good look :-/
Any help someone can provide would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you
In regard to item 1: go into Preferences (the "gear" symbol at the right end of the topmost line on the screen). It should open to the first category "General". Under timeline frame rate you should select 30 FPS (NTSC). For actual 30 fps, select "no" for dropframe timecode. For 29.97 fps, select "yes" for dropframe timecode. If you are not familiar with dropframe timecode, Google it to find lots of explanations.
If you really need 23.976, not 29.97, then select 24 FPS (there's no dropframe option). This is as close as you'll get in PD.
