If I’m reading your question correctly, perhaps this image may help.

Is this good enough for you mrbothered1? For CL suite of tools it would require AudioDirector vs WaveEditor.
Excellent work Jeff.

Hi Ianvee,
stevek nailed it in his reply to you.
The default font sizes can indeed be modified in single increments just as stevek described.
Also, in case you're unaware, after you type in a new size value of for instance... 31, remember that you must then hit the "Enter" key on your keyboard, in order to complete your size modification command.
(FYI: The maximum font size available in PD9 is "127".)

WOW!!! A great share ynotfish!
I almost skipped taking the time to click on the link and view the video.
BUT... having now watched it, I'd say that every one of our members here who have a Youtube channel,
and were forced to join the relatively new Google+, should definitely take the time to watch this video that Tony found and shared.

Hi Kevinv64,
Yes. I agree.
Assuming that they’re purchased, SmartSound files should not be the issue, as it is a legitimate use that Cyberlink endorses and includes as a plug-in, in it’s PD program.
And that’s what makes all this “suspended channels” stuff so egregious, if… Youtube channels that are using PowerDirector, or that make PowerDirector tutorials, are indeed being “specifically” targeted in the manner that the OP suggests or warns of.

Smart Sound is royalty free materials...so it should not be the root cause.
Agreed. Yet, I have gotten "Matched Third Party" notices from Youtube that have required sending in a reply to contest the warning.
Smart Sound has been made and is aware of this "Matched Third Party" music issue.

Recently YouTube has been suspending channels that have been using PD for making tutorials on how to use PowerDirector. I know of at least 25 channels that have been suspended and all used PD
Hi Goranimal52,
Have any of these 25 friends been using Smart Sound tracks in their productions? That is the only thing so far, that has thrown up a Youtube warning for me. That, and the fact that I notice that a lot of received comments are being marked as being Spam by someone. Not by me.
Perhaps it is possible, but as large as Youtube is, I find it hard to believe that one or two persons can start flagging certain channels, and that that would be enough for Youtube to take a channel down, because one or two persons sent a false flag to Youtube.
But I may be wrong, and I sure do feel sorry for those who erroneously do have their channels pulled for no "real" legitimate reason.
Maybe Cyberlink Corporate should look into this, as they are Youtube Partners, and because PD offers a direct upload to Youtube through PowerDirector.

Just my 2 cents worth.
I "can" definitely import and edit "some" FLV files in PD12.
Some import fine, some don't, and some only import the video portion without any audio being present.
So, it's always been a bit of hit and miss for me, when trying to import and work with FLV files.
As BarryTheCrab alluded to, "outputting" to FLV, is... well... another kettle of crabs, as there is no FLV output option in PD12.
Thus, converting an FLV file to a supported PowerDirector output format, prior to introducing the file into PD12, has seemed (for me at least), to be the most practical way to go.
A quick Google search will reveal that there are many free (Pazera for one), and other more advanced "commercial" FLV converters out there, that can convert a Flash file to a format that PD12 will be more apt to better deal with.
Just “my” experience with FLVs.
More astute members than I, may have differing experiences, perspectives, and insights to impart.

Hi Rick653,
My reply may not be on point here, but I’m going to try to take a stab at this part of your post /inquiry…

But when you grab the border and start to move it seems that the first place you can move to (it jumps)... Is there a setting I need to change or is this software just not capable of making a change of this size?
If I am understanding your question correctly, have you tried disabling the “Snap To” option in PD11’s Video Crop room? Thus enabling you to be able to freely position and size your media crop(s), within the aspect ratio limitations?
(NOTE: This is a screen shot of PD12, but the exact same option applies to PD11.)

Well done!

Hi Derek,
These issues you are having re: The 3D Like Rotating Image Cube, are probably best handled via a Youtube PM or private email correspondence, as this is not really a Cyberlink/PowerDirector specific issue, thus this post will very likely be locked or removed.
The PDtoots 3D Text Cube giveaway has been downloaded hundreds and hundreds of times. So first let me ask you...
(1) After downloading, did you un-zip the zip folder before trying to use / install the included square fonts.
(2) Did you read all the instructions in the “READ ME” text file that was included in the folder? Which, in the first "Instructions" part of the five part “READ ME” text file, states…
Square Font (provided by... PDtoots / CPTV) 01-21-2011
***** INSTRUCTIONS *****
- Unzip the zipped folder, to extract it's contents.
- Install (copy/Paste) Square font to your Windows Fonts folder.
- Once installed, fonts are located by tapping keys 1 through 9 on your computer's keyboard.
- Key number 8 accesses the square font that was used in the 3D Rotating Cube tutorial.
- In PowerDirector's Title Designer, the max font size/value in the font size drop down menu, is 72.
- For a larger square, physically type a value of up to 127 in the font size box, then tap the Enter key on your keyboard.
If after reviewing all of the included READ ME text file info you find it still doesn't resolve your issues, then feel free to please contact me directly via a Youtube PM (Private Message) to PDtoots at... http://www.youtube.com/user/PDtoots
Or email me at...
cptvmail@gmail.com.
Regards,
-CP-

Thank you Carl, the videos are just amazing. I have requested the link for the template etc
Hi derekhunts,
As I don’t know your Youtbe channel name, I can’t recall if your request for these particular downloads have been received yet at the PDtoots Tutorials Youtube channel.
Google (in my opinion) has really screwed up Youtube with their constant changes to how YT now works. So notifications now are often quite spotty. and we seem to miss getting a lot of incoming messages/requests.
If you haven’t received a PDtoots Youtube channel reply yet to your YT channel, then you can click on the “PM” button at the bottom of this reply, and specify your request, and a download link(s) will be sent to you.
And also… just a little thanks here to forum member Carl312, from those forum members here who contribute tutorials to the PDtoots channels, for passing on PDtoots Tutorials links that appear in this case to have turned out to be the “how to” instruction that member derekhunts was seeking and wanting to create in his PowerDirector.

When loading the GIF to the smartphone, do you place it in the pictures, video, etc. section of the phone?
Hi Dan05201,
I don’t have Moto X phone.
My phone has a curly wire connected to a handset, and a base with a round disc with finger holes in it that one spins to dial.
Point being that. . . I really shouldn’t be chiming here, other than having a little interest in using PowerDirector to edit video file segments that can be converted into GIF files.
I’m sure you’ve checked the Moto X “user guides”.
I looked and found this entry, though it doesn’t seem to be too “specific” in describing how to do what you are wishing to accomplish.
If you’ve got a GIF file that’s working to your satisfaction, and no one who uses a Moto X phone chimes in here, you might consider gong to this Motorola support site to get your answer.
