I really don't see that much difference in that last video when using the blur transition in PD.
That was just an example to show the lag, the transition is irrelevant, the fact it lags is the issue!

Maybe point us to (some) examples of what it is you are after. That helps getting a picture of what we what it is we cshould help you with:
Hi Warry thank you, what I have ended up doing is purchasing the Pixelan Package here:
https://www.pixelan.com/buy-form.htm
I bough the $99 transitions bundle here, the issue now is with the software, I run a very high end system and these transitions preview the transitions at snails pace, I have no words. Warry I have created a new thread for that issue. Oh boy I hope this can be solved!
New thread here:

Thanks Warry!

Hi folks,
I initially posted here:
https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/96670.page
About needing to know how to create seamless transitions, I ended up looking into Pixelan Plugins and was sold almost immediately on what these plugins could do. I ended up installing the DEMO versions for:
Dissolvemaster
https://www.pixelan.com/dissolvemaster/intro.htm
Blurmaster
https://www.pixelan.com/blurmaster/intro.htm
Spicemaster
https://www.pixelan.com/sm25/intro.htm
I went to purchase the $99 Transitions Bundle, downloaded and installed the plugins, had a one minute clip and added a few transitions, went to preview them and immediately noticed the flawless preview went to a snails pace previewing these transitions.
I am completely stumped because I run an already optimized machine, my specs are:
- Win11 x64 OS
- x570 DARK HERO Mobo
- 5950x OC to 5.2Ghz
- 3090 Strix OC GPU
- 64gb of CL14 Ram
- Video footage on 980 Pro PCIE 4.0 NVME @7000mb/s
I have 4k footage and use PD365, settings below
I took a quick video of the lag with my phone, pardon the quality
Hello people, any ideas as to what I could do?
I contacted Pixelan but received nbothing back, thanks in advance!
|
|
I tried creating a few frames at one level of blurriness then added more and over a second the shot got more blurry, I did that for A and B clips, looked ok but not the seamless blurs that people can add over their footage.
So like a fade out to opaque from A and a fade in from Opaque on B
Is there a fade to opaque in pinnacle ??
Can anyone offer a solution I could use. I have been looking on the internet for seamless fade type transitions in Powerdirector and there seems to be nothing, plenty for premiere etc, any ideas?
|
|
I guess I was looking for transitions that start to blur the two shots the A and B shots then they blend in the middle, does anyone know of something for Powerdirector?
|
|
I was watching some tutorials and wondering if there is a way to create blurs at the beginning and end of two clips which I want to transition to try and create that seamless transition.
I'm no expert but was hoping to create something similar to all those premiere tutorials out there, any thoughts or suggestions to be able to make something similar in studio at all?
Thank you in advance!

You can open a dispute, so some human being will look into your case, I think.
My channel is not monetized and most of the time I just accept not to monetize the video and everything is fine.
But there are certain songs that are not allowed to be used in any way, Youtube blocks it for some countries or the whole world.
It is visible only to those who posted it.
Ok thanks very much for the explanation, I have pulled the video down just not to go through the bother, easy enough to change the music even though it's powerdirector music 👍👍
|
|
Hi folks,
Running Powerdirector 365 on a subscription. I uploaded a Youtube Video today, its our third for our channel and I have received 2 Audio Copyright claims, not a copyright strike but two audio copyright claims.
Please see link to video for reference only and the screenshots showing the powerdirector timeline with the music audio which is audio tracks directly through Pinnacle.
Youtube Video Link
The audio tracks youtube have stated are completely different titles. and one of the tracks I have used through my other videos.
I have sent youtube the feedback stating I am allowewd to use the music through Pinnacle.
Please see the screenshots showing the pinnacle music and the timeline including the two suggested audio tracks i copyrighted!
Question, is there anything else I can do? Will this just go away?
Thoughts and comments as I'm very unsure what will happen.
P.S Surely this is just a bad mistake by YouTube ??

|
Thank you so so very much Jeff, my resolution was the factor here, thanks you again, made a copy of the post for future reference

Anyone got any ideas?

Hi all,
This patch 3424 Beta Patch DID work perfectly, it now does not, option is greyed out, I reinstalled the patch and still not allowing me to select the FAST VIdeo Rendering Technology, this made an amazing difference in my Video Rendering times.
Please see attachments, which includes DxDiag, I have no issues running PD16 With my Hardware etc either, plus this is a newly formatted Win10Pro install
Any ideas folks?

When I create a new custom profile and change to 60fps and 80000kbps when I select an mpeg4 4k profile it works, when I go into notepad and change the resolution to 2560 x 1440 is doesnt like it
and I cant use the FVRT
Any ideas how to get around this 2560 x 1440 is a 16:9 2K standard resolution, yet its not even available in the hard coded profiles

I think you can do what you want. Youtube will always reencode your video.
They have to, because they encode different resolutions.
They give you a suggestion, which resolution, bitrate, etc. you should upload, but I believ, they always reencode your footage.
So I think, even with VP9, Youtube would reencode...
Hatti
Thanks Hatti, I was asking about the actual rendering with a VP9 Codec in PD but all good thanks!
|
|
Hi Folks,
Is VP9 on the cards for encoding my videos for Youtube at all?
I encode at H265 at the moment at 2k 60 FPS at 45000 bitrate, the videos are great until they hit youtube where they of course degrade them.
The VP9 Codec is a better codec overall and accepted by Youtube, does anyone know maybe the insiders to Cyberlink may know if that is on the cards
Regards

Thanks Hatti, I extracted the audio from the file and placed them in the timeline as a seperate file rather than trying to extract in the program and it worked that way, thanks for your help.

Hello,
I believe this is what AudioDirector is for in Director Suite. In that program you can edit multi-track audio on video. PowerDirector's audio editing is outsourced to AudioDirector or WaveEditor.

Ahh ok, thanks Dave, appreciate your help

Hi Folks,
I have .mp4 files from game recordings with 2 Audio tracks, can PD16 import them or do I need to fix both channels of audio first then import the fixed audio tracks for one track import to add to timeline?
Thanks in advance

Try unchecking Fast Video Rendering Tech
Hey Shadow, thank you works flawlessly, question cant that IBP pattern be improved, doing gameplays atm?
Also rendering out to .mp4 with the below bitrate, I find my colours a slightly desaturated, if I increase in post before rendering would be the best solution?
Also what is <Pre Processing>0 ?
Many thanks
