That produced clip in the 6th thread of this post shows a video lag of about 250 ms or ¼ of a sec. when using VLC. That is about 7-8 video frames at 29.97 fps. Using the J and K keys on VLC to synchronize the video with the audio.

One could simply unlink the video and audio on the timeline. Move the audio forward 7-8 frames. Relink them Produce with SVRT. Takes only about 7 sec. For the 10+ min. video. You can apply the same principle to all your videos once you determine the necessary audio lag.
Quote This of course doesn't answer silly questions like...
Why can PowerDirector 'Produce' the same Fuji clip at 1920x1080 using hardware assistance in just a few seconds ?
Why can PowerDirector 'Produce' at speed in 4K from a GoPro but not a Fuji X-T3 ?

My initial reply to this topic is based on this Fuji (Movie Recording Mode) article: https://fujifilm-x.com/global/products/cameras/x-t3/feature-movie-recording/ . The chart shows that 4K are 10bit for H.265 and 8bit for avc (H.264) recordings. There are more selections in the article posted by ynotfish. It possibly means different firmware for the same camera.

The sample Maldive MOV clip is a 4K uhd hevc 10 bit 210 Mb/s 50 fps clip . The earlier GoPro’s can only record 4K as hevc 8 bit 64 Mb/s 60 fps (U.S.) and can be produced using any of the default profiles or with the Profile Analyzer suggestion. You don’t want to do that with 10 bit source video as there is no need for the higher bit rates(210 Mb/s) for 10 bits as PD365 can only produce in 8 bits. 50 Mb/s for 8 bits should be sufficient.

Until one day PD365 is upgraded to produce 10 bit videos, there is no need for higher than present bitrates for producing videos. Hope that this may help in answering the question about the GoPro’s compared to the Fuji X-T3 when using PD365. The latest GoPro can record videos in 10 bits. No one has posted such a clip for us to test yet.

Jeff answered first while I was still typing. SVRT does work on the GoPro produced files on my end to do more editing and corrections but SVRT does not work on the original GoPro files as noted.
Quote Now it won't even open sometimes. What the actual F***?!
Has anyone experienced this shitshow?

All the time for some users if you read this forum. Whatever the cause, it can be restarted. Open the Task Manager and close PDR.exe and you should be able to open PD21 again.
Yes, that should be 9:16 in the vertical mode.
English:
Years ago I found that Cyberlink software like PowerProducer and Power2Go have default settings for creating optical discs like 17000 Kb/sec bitrate for Video and 256 Kb/sec for Audio. This works out to be about 3 hours of video on a 25 GB Blu-ray disc.

Your claim of a 287.27 GB project size could mean 287.27/25 = 11.5 x 3 hours = 34.5 hours of video that you want to put on an optical disc.

You can look up the Blu-ray specifications for Bitrate., standards, etc. online to understand. It looks like you need to break that project down to three smaller projects and buy at least three 100GB BDXL optical discs for your projects if Power2Go13 supports them. I could not find that information here: https://www.cyberlink.com/products/power2go-platinum/features_en_US.html .

A user with the same camera may be able to answer that question fully. Older versions of PD are able to edit 4k 10 bit videos that are not successful in PD365 without a conversion. Here is a possible workaround that may be useful: https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/97172.page .

According to the spec page, some 10 bit videos can be imported to PD365.
Quote Hello,
i have produced a video to the following format
H.264 AVC
MP4
MPEG-4 1920 X 1080/120P (60MBPS)
PAL

In one section i have 8 or so photos i grouped together as a slideshow (Montage) which when viewing in edit and after production in PD looks fine, all nice and smooth and scrolls etc

However when i view the produced mp4, the pictures just pop up without the smoothness and looks really clunky.

im assuming i have a wrong setting somewhere, can someone help me point it out?

im using PD16

Check to see if you are using 24 fps as the timeline frame. You should be able to produce at the 120 fps and it should be a multiple of 5 frames being the same and smooth as 24 fps. Most users will get better results in former PAL territories to use a Timeline frame rate of 25 or 50 and produce at the same. frame rate. Use the Profile Analyzer if it is available in your version of PD.
Quote I hapend to have the exact same problem. I use Power Director 18. I' ve downloaded the patch you recommended BUT my problem is still there frown Do you see any other solution or do i have to buy undecidedyell version 21 ?

You may have a better chance with PD21 and may want to purchase a new version every year as YouTube API changes. I will rather learn what others do manually to save some money.

Sounded like a great idea, but, sadly, had no effect.

I had Explorer find all the places titles can be, and it came up with:
Documents/Cyberlink/PowerDirector/8.0/MyTitles
Documents/Cyberlink/PowerDirector/10.0/MyTitles
Documents/Cyberlink/PowerDirector/12.0/MyTitles
Documents/Cyberlink/PowerDirector/13.0/MyTitles
Documents/Cyberlink/PowerDirector/18.0/MyTitles
Documents/Cyberlink/PowerDirector/21.0/MyTitles
Program Files/Cyberlink/PowerDirector18/Titles
Program Files/Cyberlink/PowerDirector21/Titles
Users/fhsmi/AppData/Local/Cyberlink/PowerDirector/13.0
Users/fhsmi/AppData/Roaming/Cyberlink/PowerDirector/13.0
Users/fhsmi/AppData/Roaming/Cyberlink/PowerDirector/18.0
Users/fhsmi/AppData/Roaming/Cyberlink/PowerDirector/21.0
Users/Public/Cyberlink/Downloaded Titles

Obviously I've had PD too long, and it's not very good at uninstalling everything.

I changed Titles in PD21 to TitlesX, and had some success. It still won't find all my titles, but when I imported a dzt file, it put it in the Public folder, and is now accessible to my project.

As I don't have a PD exe file prior to 18.0, I expect I can just delete the 8.0 to 13.0 folders.

My question is: can I just move the title folders I want from 18.0 to Public?

Thanks,
Fred

The first 8 links you typed in above are reserved for custom titles created and saved in that particular version of PD. The last link you typed is where DirectorZone downloaded titles are placed to be available for all versions of PD.

Later versions of PD can use the custom titles which are available from earlier versions of PD.

I don’t see any issues with using custom templates created in PD19.
You should render at 25 or 30 fps like you have in the past. Uncheck in Preferences hardware decoding and produce your videos without SVRT as the gpu does not support 4k.
That is the best quality capture available if you use the appropriate pc or added the appropriate firewire card to the pc if needed.
Quote My camera is shooting on Sony LP90 Digital 8 film

Capture with the IEEE Firewire port on your pc with a cable attached to the 4 pin firewire port on your Sony D8 camcorder.
Quote I my computer will start to "render preview." This apparently causes green blocks to appear at the top of the timeline. I cannot turn off the rendering process. I do not know what is triggering this process.
I have been PD for a long time and have never had such a severe problem.

Donald1200 - If the GT 630 suddenly is not working well on your pc, then you have other options. If the videos on your timeline is not 4k or hevc but up to 1080/60p then you already have the mp2 and mp4 hardware decode and encode on that 4770k cpu that you can use. You may not have the render preview issue that is occurring on your system now as long as you don’t place 4k video on that timeline. I never had it in the past with any avc video. Try the change.
You should start a support ticket right away in case no one here had such an experience and had to hunt for the temporary files from the screen recorder.
Here is an article on decrypting the samsung srf file: https://www.ivonet.nl/2014/12/25/how-to-get-samsung-led-tv-pvr-recording-as-mkv/ . I am sure that you can convert it with a free video converter once you have done your research.
Look at the top right corner of the PhotoDirector screen. There should be an X. Click the restore button just to the left of it to toggle it to full screen.

Let us know if it works on your side.
You did not state whether you are using a laptop with limited storage or a desktop that can have an extra internal drive for storage. Add an extra large hard drive or ssd for data and move the My Documents and other users folder to it. You can do it properly by researching how to do it in Windows.

This is the way it is on my deskyop pc's.
Using the original is always better unless your pc cannot handle it or if you feel it takes too much time.
You did not state if the movie is a commercial copy copied or ripped from a disc. It may still have copy protection. You may be able to fix it by using a free video converter. You should then be able to use it in PD20 and edit it.
