If I understand you right - You want to make a dvd where you you use the the 2 titles as entry points?
If so, I think if you make your 2 titles as 2 Projects an them import the 2 procects when create disk.
Though I can't figure why you have those many chapters if you don't want to use them to select a special chapter?
I see it's easyer to use "Blur" effect as PlaySound suggests instead of it I suggested (but my idea works too).
You do/should have the Blur effect in Effect Room - try to look either in Style or All Content.

Drag the effect to effect track.
Highlight the effect and click Modify.
Choose Mask Type circle.
Click on Mask - Mask window open.
In Mask window you can change the size and position the mask.

Hopefully this helps you.
First you make a drawing ofthe mask-shape you want and save it with transperand background e.g. an ellipce.

Then import the drawing to your media library.

Place your mask (e.g. ellipse) on a track under (higher no.) your video clip.

Resize and replace the mask to cover the face.

Click Modify and set Opacity, and save.

Set the duration for the mask.

If the face isn't at the same spot on the screen all the time follow the instruktion in this tutor:
PowerDirector Tracking Motion

good luck! smile
In Preferences/Project you should be able to see where the Auto-saved Projects will be saved - ofcause it will only be saved if ther is a ckeck mark in the Auto-save check box.
Have you tried to search for the folder ...\PowerDirector\AutoSave\

I think the deafult is:
C:\Users\"yourPC"\AppData\Roaming\CyberLink\PowerDirector\13.0\AutoSave

You're only able to see this folder if you set up your Explorer to show System- or Hidden files.

Strange! undecided
When I opened the project today, it was possible to adjust the sound with the "Edit Clip Keyframe - Volume".
But when I added two audio clips, the possibility for sound adjustment of Magic Music sound disappeared - I could make audio adjustments on the two new audio clip. - rather odd. yell

I saved the current project under a new name.
Opened the original project - adjusted the sound of Magic Music track - saving the project - inserted the two new audio clips - now everything works ferfekt. laughing

I simply can not figure out why this error occurs - does anyone know anything about this?
If you save your 'shutter' effect as a project you can combine this project to/in other projects.

For example: (This guide is found in: http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/15091.page)

1. Open your project #1
2. Highlight the entire project using the orange triangle markers on the blue scrubber bar. (see tutorial for details)
3. Select COPY......the copy button will appear above the timeline once you highlight it.
4. Now open Project #2...select YES when prompted to merge the media libray with the new project.
5. Move the Blue Scrubber bar to where you want the contents inserted in Project #2 and click PASTE.
6. The entire contents of Project #1 is pasted into project #2.

Of course it will be easier if you could save money, 'shutter' effect as a PiP - there was a description of how it could be done a while ago.
Unfortunately I have not bookmarked it ... I think it was ynotfish, Tony, who explained how to do that (not easy - for me, at least)
I had the same issue with transition yesterday.
I solved the problem by extending the timeline, then I could drag and drop the transition.
I have successfully used "Edit Clip Keyframe - Volume" to adjust the background music.
Suddenly it does not work anymore.
I open the "Edit Clip Keyframe - Volume" but it is not possible to set a keyframe marker nor is it possible to set a marker manually on the time line.
I have tried to remove the audio file from the project, close PD13, removing temporary files in Roaming directory, restart the PC, open the project again and load the audio file again - but it did not help.

It should be noted that within this situation occurred I had put some keyframe markers of the audio file without having adjusted the volume level and left the "Edit Clip Keyframe - Volume" to make a correction with pictures / videos before I adjusted the volume level.

The problem is apparently limited to one project. When I have opened other, older projects, where "Edit Clip Keyframe - Volume" functions as it should.

What should I do to avoid starting from scratch with this project?
You find the search button in the toop of forum page. See attachment.

About the speed, sory I don't know.
laughing embarassed You are right, we both have an GTX9xx Series. Not an older. wink

Still, there are issues (23/09/2015 17:49:53): Able to use HA only one time - GTX960M
https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/45628.page#235627

Just a side note.
I am currently working on a project (holiday in Asia), consisting of 12-15 sub-projects with photos and video clips captured with Canon PowerShot G2 and Panasonic DMC-FZ38. All projects contain material from both cameras.
The strange thing is that sometimes I'm able to use Intelligent SVRT and sometimes not.
Haven't yet worked out why. And I do not intend to spend time on it, since it's not terribly inconvenient.
At PowerDirector 13 System Requirements you will find this note:

NVIDIA:
•GeForce 8500GT/9800GT and above
•GeForce GT/GTS/GTX 200/400/500/600 Series

PLEASE NOTE: For users of NVIDIA cards who have updated to graphics driver 340.43 or later, the video hardware acceleration feature in PowerDirector is no longer available. To re-enable hardware acceleration, please download and install an earlier driver.
hi,
This is because PD is working with aspect ratio 16: 9 and / or 4: 3, and your image is portrait (maybe 9:16) If you take pictures with your phone horizontally rather than vertically, it will certainly fit when you put it into the timeline .

With portrait pictures he can put more images next to each other, like in the attachment.

Or you can choose to show part of the picture (in relation to the aspect ratio you selected in Preferences) eg with Magic Motion.

Cheers, Anja
Hi both,

It's good that you came along, blasiusxx. You apparently know a lot of both BR and graphics. And have the opportunity to test both GeForce and Intel.
I'm just a user without much technical knowledge.

It is not surprising if it is a Nvidia problem. When I'm search at NVDIA in the forum: Search Results: 1540 records were found.
It would be nice if CL can or will fix various problems with Geforce.

paiceashtonlord # 123, to me it looks like blasiusxx recommends:

Hi micncue,
I would made a project containing what you want to start with.
Then open it and 'save as' the name of your new project.
cheers, anja
if you modify a template and choose 'save as' (choose the name yoy like) it can be used in new and old projects
Hi,

did you remember to change 'playback mode' before burning the disk?

or did it say: Start from the menu page and play all titles sequentially?

see attachments, please

cheers, anja
Hi clockmaker,

if you drag a title to the timeline and modify it you wil be able to use Save and/or Save As
Tusind tak/Thank you very much.
Nice that you spend so much energy on helping an old lady.

As I see it written CBS.log NOT as a new file each time but things found are added to existing log file until it is 50 MB then copied it to cbs.persist.log and a new SBS.log is created - so history is preserved.
Therefore the file size says nothing about current number of errors, but the number that has been since the log was started.

This is a problem when it takes place on an SSD disk with limited space. I have fortunately space on the SSD yet.

Maybe some of the errors related to me every day, some days several times, prevents my PC from being updated with Win10 - this I can not figure out.

I have not worked much with PD after reinstallationen (gardening in the good weather has had higher priority) and have not yet seen these thumbnail mistake again, but if it occurs, I will use your suggestions to use * repair install *.

Last but not least, I thank you for all your advice and guidance.

Have a nice day laughing
If I understand your question correctly, the answer is simple.
NO
- If you use Subtitles you can not change the size and location.
Therefore, the easiest way would be to:
Take any text that resembles the type of text you want from 'Title Room' - drag it to the timeline where you want it to appear - click modify and type the text you want (and make the changes you wish ) - click on 'Save'. Now you have the text without having made a template.
Only if you click 'Save As' creates a template.

Cheers, Anja
ok optodata, do you know Danish or was it automatic translation?

Again I've uninstalled and reinstalled - pretty boring.

I also run "SFC /scannow" both before uninstall and after reinstall. Both times it told me:
Windows Resource Protection fand corrupted files, but it was not all files that could be repaired. For more information CBS.Log.
the first time the logfile was 1.614 KB the second time it is 2.306 KB is it that the scan program is adding to existing log every time it runs? Or does it make a new fresh file?
I copied the logfile and opened it - must admit I don't understand what to look for - do you?

My PC is pretty new brought it 30/04/2015 so if there is something wrong I must contact the supplier.
OK, thanks.
I havn't got any of those today.
