Several tutorials say that you can make a custom tag for custom templates in the title room and save it by cllicking on the icon at the top and then save and then OK but I can't find the save or OK buttons on the page. Is Thanks. The Village Clockmaker

I'm trying to save the whole package as a template. The video, the audio and the copy so I can use it as the opening for every new video. Is that possible? The Village Clockmaker

Hi clockmaker -

In PDR, you can't actually create a "template" for a whole project (as you would in (say) MS Word.

If you want to re-use the "whole package" (video, title & audio), the best thing to do is:

  1. Make the project containing only the elements you want to re-use

  2. Save it and Pack Project Materials

  3. When you want to re-use that sequence in a future project, just select Insert Project

  4. Navigate to your packed project folder and insert the .pds file

For our PDtoots tutorials, we do that all the time for opening & closing sequences.

Cheers - Tony
