You claimed that your original source files were only 1.2 GB in size. The Program Analyzer states that 99% of the video assets on that timeline is AVC mpeg 4, 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, frame rate of 30 fps, and a bitrate of 16.2 Mbps.
Try this: Go back to the Edit page. Highlight the original music clip. Right mouse click on it and then click View Properties. A Popup window allows you to see the total length of that video clip, resolution, bitrate. and frame rate in fps. The audio information and bitrate is also given. How does this information compare to that of the Program Analyzer? It should be basically the same.
You can lower the bitrate of the Encoding to about half for the YOUTUBE recommended bitrate if you want. You can even lower the resolution and bitrate to the YT chart to save more on file sizes if you want for reduced resolution and reduced quality.

Your screenshot does not show YouTube recommended settings. Here they are: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/1722171?hl=en#zippy=%2Cbitrate . You may also want to use the Profile Analyzer located on top of your highlighted Windows Media button in the screenshot to see the recommendation in PD365 based on your source files resolution and bit rates.

What is the use of the Win 7 or 8 in the CAM screenshot. The minimum system requirements for PD365 is Win 11, 10 (64-bit only) in the Products page.

You could try WinDV and ScenalyzerLive freeware first to do the capturing. It may be that you can’t use PD365 with the latest update based on another post in this forum.
This article points the way to using firewire with win 11: https://www.studio1productions.com/Articles/Firewire-1.htm . This may help: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/how-do-i-activate-my-ieee-1394-port-in-windows-11/d9d42331-61cf-41b4-afc2-a7eab207e472 . You may have already tried the fixes in them.

Victormoises321654 - Would like you to attach a 5 to 10 sec. 10-bit video clip from your GoPro on your next reply. I don’t think that the Profile Analyzer is the final determination for producing the edited files as ¼ of the bitrate may be all that is necessary. Users here will be able to check and determine the proper bitrate for that new GoPro 10 10-bit videos.
You could end up with produced 8-bit video that are smaller in file size that are in high quality with the proper bitrate.

It does seem that your version in PD21 is lacking a duration and auto timeout checkbox. Unless a user can identify the wording on the screenshot, it is best that you contact Cyberlink support. They can be reached here: https://www.cyberlink.com/support/index.html .
You may want to contact the Japanese language support instead.

再生モード設定に時間設定はありません。ルートメニューを含めるチェックボックスをチェックすると、設定が表示されました。しかし、シーンの長さは変更されませんでした。
That time setting is for the timeout of the root menu only to start playing the video if you checked the auto menu timeout. It has nothing to do with the screen which is typically 10 to 15 seconds and then repeats. You need to attach a screenshot of the menu that you are using in your Japanese version of PD21 so we have a better understanding of the menu in question.

The spec page for P2Go13 does not list Win 11 either. I do wonder if the bug found in that other post also exists if Win 10 instead of Win 11 was used. Anyway there will be no help from support for the Win 11 user.

Use that comparison page link that optodata supplied and click on the Content button on top of the page to see the transitions available: https://www.cyberlink.com/products/add-ons/powerdirector/recommended_en_US.html .
There are 10 pages of this. Each set is available for both, like $50 for PD21 and free for PD365 subscribers. None of them are included in PD365. You must download them if you want them like this one: https://www.cyberlink.com/products/add-ons/snow-transitions_en_US.html?productName=powerdirector&catName1=recommended&catName2=all . It cost $50 and is free for PD365 to download it.
There are possibly about 100 new transitions available for the PD21 users for $500. The same for PD365 users is $0 or free.

I just explored the free version of P2Go11. It reported that DVD-RW as blank and erase is not needed. That same 1 GB data file is still there on the disc as shown in file explorer and it plays properly with the win media player.
Burn speed can be selected and a data verify option is available too in P2Go11. Previous Cyberlink P2Go in free Giveaways did not have these features. Recall that Cyberlink software used in Win 11 will receive no support if it was not specifically written and sold for win 11 compatibility. This may be a bug for the Win 11 user which will receive no support. You can still download it from the Cyberlink website.
The burn speed here appears to be 2X with Win 11, and previously 1X with Win 10 using Jeff’s suggestion on my pc.

Looking at your screenshot. Click the button located by the far left center edge that reads Click here or drag the selected clip to a selected track. The clip will then be added to the timeline. You can also drag n Drop that highlighted clip in the media library to the timeline if you wish.

There might be a slight advantage to having P2Go installed on a pc. It really is not needed at all since Win 10, and 11 can mount images, burn optical discs, etc. Someone still using say Win XP that may not have those tools.
I just tried burning a 1 GB mp4 file to a blank DVD-RW using Win 11 by Drag n Drop. The optical drive keeps making these click sounds every ½ second even when the file is completely written in 6 minutes. You see the file size in the opened file explorer after it is finished copying. There is no setting for burn speed. I don’t recall these limitations when using a particular third party software.
I do recall that my previous test on an earlier version of P2Go burned at max speed. Again there is no setting for burn speed.
Your version of P2Go may or may not have a speed setting feature. Many free and paid optical disc burner software have these features and other features like verify the data. It is important to read the instructions or help(F1 key) for any software to get the most out of it.

You can do it again by using the help (F1 key) to ring the bell. Here is an explanation from the last post that may help: https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/118504.page .

The Op states that his laptop with an i5-6300u mobile cpu of 2 core/4 thread runs PD smoother than his amd 8 core/16 thread cpu desktop. There is about a 7X passmark difference. Shadow files are finished and are used in the screen recording. The clip on the timeline is 9.5 seconds long. It does show a choppy display when scrubbing when compared to the filmora screen recording.
Place the PD365 Mountainbiker sample clip on the timeline, expand the scale, scrub back and forth and see a much smoother display and scrolling effect like much of his filmora screen recording. Do not have shadow files enabled. I do wonder if the difference is that PD software favors Intel CPUs over AMD.

Hi,
When I open the Photo Director 14 on windows 11 it doesn't show up on the desktop regardless of the fact that on the taskbar it shows that it is open.
Before today it was functioning normally.
Any idea what might have happened?
Check to see if it is set to open and display on the other monitor if you have a dual monitor setup. A Right mouse click on the icon on the taskbar may allow you to close it.

You have confirmed that your TV is the problem. As far as I know, all modern phones use the rotation flag to differentiate between a portrait or a landscape orientation in a video. There are no settings in a phone to change this. This applies to all android and ios phones that I have seen.
It may be that your TV media player is too old to display portrait videos. There are several fixes for this. Buy a new media player, buy a new smart TV, cast the video from the phone, cast the video from a windows 10 or 11 pc are some of the solutions.
|
|
I just tried an original 9:16 Samsung Galaxy Video placed on a usb flash drive. The TV video player displays it properly. The MediaInfo are 1920 x 1080, Display aspect ratio: 16:9, Rotation 90 degrees.
More than likely, the media player on your TV may not be recognizing the Rotation flag. Place the original video on the flash drive and see if this is the case.

My experience is you do not buy Cyberlink plugins, you rent them.
Then when CyberLink ends the contract with the plug-in company all hell breaks loose and eventually after a few updates you lose the plug-in.
One can avoid such problems that Barry mentioned. Go rent such software directly from Boris FX as they don’t sell them. Here is the link and the prices for a subscription: https://borisfx.com/products/bfxsuite?collection=boris-fx-suite&product=boris-fx-suite .
I did get a free standalone particle creator from them years ago by signing up for their newsletter.

Highlight the clip. Go to Fix/Enhance / Lighting Adjustment is one way.
