CL's Attention to Details

Humor for the day. So, CL App Manager latest version shows support only to Win 10, but yet one uses it to install PD365 that supports Win 11. Just how does one achieve that? Do you install PD365 on Win 10 since that's support by CL App Manager, and then update to Win 11 each time? Funny to me, since if you ask for support on a product that's not declared for a particular OS, you get the proverbial unsupported platform story instantly.

Overseeing details never been a feature set for CL, just put something out there to sell.

The spec page for P2Go13 does not list Win 11 either. I do wonder if the bug found in that other post also exists if Win 10 instead of Win 11 was used. Anyway there will be no help from support for the Win 11 user.

Lots of examples like that past and present, like no updates of the What's New page after the 21.3.2727 release of PD365, and no response to Warry's question from 7 days ago about what changed. Many other apps/publishers have a dedicated Change Log page but not CL

They've updated the What's New page, you get some fonts, music, Easter stickers, and some children's stickers for your editing pleasure.

Warry's question also addressed, just some fixes.

Assuming that 21 patch v2721 has the same changes as the 365 version 2727

I wouldn't assume or think that at all, nor did PDM say anything about perpetual update 2721 in your post. Basically 365 update 3.2727 had bug fixes per CL/PDM, absolutely no details to know if it might affect an editor, but as you indicate, you didn't want those details anyhow.

Totally correct, Jeff. I assumed that the changes for the patch 21 2721 would be the same as those for 365 2727. Or would they keep those versions separate....? If the message is: some bugs, then that is fine. If they have fixed bugs that have been discussed in this forum, and those that have been passed on as a service request, then I would assume (again) that CL would inform its customers as is to be expected.

I don't think the release updates between perpetual and subscription are synonymous in any fashion. Perpetual has not had one official posted update since PD21 release until update 2721 on 4/11/2023, subscription has had multiple pushes for bugs. A definitive case in point, this thread, https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/97787.page#post_box_393128 . Last post by PDM, "CyberLink has released a patch for 365 that "eases" the issue, if that makes sense.", that was October. Is this now finally included in the perpetual update 2721 some 6 months later, who knows. It just highlights how out of sync releases are to address bugs.

Good night, my pdr 21 is updated to this version 3.2727 it makes sense to update to this perpetual version 2721 it's best to leave it as it is, I wanted the express projects back but since it's not possible yet I'm already getting used to this pdr 21 here I don't I have crashing bugs or something like that I'm afraid to keep updating I'm from the team that shouldn't move if it's working.

So on this forum that so many posts always claim has no CL monitors and it's simply user to user, yet this detailed issue was corrected in a few days while it had existed in error for nearly 2 years!

What is the use of the Win 7 or 8 in the CAM screenshot. The minimum system requirements for PD365 is Win 11, 10 (64-bit only) in the Products page.

I'd assume since downloader supports other products besides PD365, those products still support WIN7, for instance YouCam.
