I do not know if I understand right, you set the audio volume in AudioDirector or WavEditor and then produce saved the video without the audio setting?
Talves you saved by not updating the audio in PD.
Certain adjustments will be better can do so directly in PD will see the positions in video can help in some cases.
This is done directly in the wave of audio, acting on the white line, click the line hold and drag down and up.
To better visualize the wave expand it, click on the bottom line, an arrow appears drag down, increases the height of the wave.

I have checked the ratio to be sure that I was using the correct one. Could it be that I need to reinstall ? Thanks for the response.

Adding to that BarryTheCrab showed.
You can add a 4x3 effect, change Project Aspect ratio to 16x9 and save the library, many works, others need adjustments.
To facilitate finding effects use search the library, enter the name and click on the magnifying glass.

Then how do I get both videos recorded at once. I am doing a side by side of the videos.
MULTICAN Information
In the window 1 (+) Add the video A.
In the window 2 (+) Add the video B.
Synchronization (Audio Analysis) click Apply
Audio source, usually choose 1 or 2 the best and that this whole.
Click the red button (REC), OK to finish.
Will be added the 2 videos and audio in the timeline.
You must make cuts A or B video if you want to switch between them, leave the locked audio if you want.
Note: If there is coincidence in the audio wave 2 videos will be synchronized one below the other, if not the videos will be side by side

I have two recordings from myself and a friend playing a game. I would like to sync these two videos up as we are talking in them and should be able to do this via the audio. I am having a hard time doing this. If anyone could point me in the right direction as I am sure this is something easy. Thanks in advance for any help.
I use little MULTICAN, the image shows the way to get what you want, if you can not wait for more tips or find tutorials https://www.youtube.com/user/pdtoots

You will upload this video to Youtube /
If so use the best quality (SVRT profile) Youtube will do the conversion for various sizes also lower the bitrate, I think that's what you want.

I find this feature really annoying, can it be turned off some how? I have looked but maybe I'm just missing it....
Thanks for any help!
If you have many clip's upright, you will need to rotate.
If you one by one will really give extra work.
But one way to minimize this, rotate a clip only make direct acting in preview, right click in the rotated clip, select Copy Keiframe Attributes.
Select all that's need to rotate clip, right click select Paste keyframe Attributes.
To select several clip's on the timeline, hold the Ctrl key on your keyboard while clicking each clip will.

I created my first video called Polar Bear Ride 2015 and posted it on my youtube acct (see vacnile). When I was working on it in PD13 the text was sharp but when I viewed it in youtube everything looked like it had been compressed a whole lot. What would you recommend as the best format to produce videos in if you want to show them on a computer or on youtube?
If you submit your video in Online PD option, just need to choose the video size (resolution) use the same as your original video, example fullHD 1080x 1920.
Note: When you watch the video on Youtube watching the quality button, you choose it, has a range up to FullHD.

When I used MS Movie Maker, I also used MS Story 3 which allowed panning and zooming within a photo and which then saved that as a video file. I can't seem to figure out how to do this with PD 13.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
thanks,
Joe
PD has many ways to do Pan and zoon.
Option, with the Magic Motion tool you can do for all the selected images in the timeline.
1 - select one or more images in the timeline.
2 - click on the magic wand button and select, Magic Motion, is shown all pre motions set, option, User defined you that makes the movement of your way.

Hi there,
New to the forum, as I have never had an issue with PD before.
I have a show on youtube, that I have been producing once a week for 90 weeks using PowerDirector 9 exclusively. One day, it just up and stopped working. I drop a video in and it just freezes. Anyways, I downloaded the new PowerDirector 13 and this is where my troubles really start.
Simply put, I want to use videos with an FPS of 23.97 (24) and videos with 30 FPS. I can make videos perfectly with solely the 30 FPS stuff, but the second I put in anything with 24 FPS and attempt a save, it will crash. Attempt to produce, it will freeze and crash.
I am very frustrated as PowerDirector 9 has let me use these exact same files for years in the same timeline with zero troubles with not even the slightest mention of FPS at all.
How do I create projects with videos that use two different FPS with PowerDirector 13?
It seems ridiculous to me that this is happening with the newer version. And many, many inexperienced users I'm sure need this function available.
PLEASE HELP. Seriously, please. My show must go on!
Thanks.
I think you have a problem with your PC, as you say PD9 gave error, and continues with error in PD13.
Here I do not care with FPS the original video, I always saved in NTSC (30 fps = 29.970 fps)

Ok i just noticed something strange.
If i select "intelligent SVRT" to encode, it selects H.264 AVC, m2ts with the profile
AVC 19200 X 1080/50i (24mbps)
Why would it select 50i? anyway if i encode it like this, it some how ends up with 25fps and the video looks perfect.
The only problem is i don't want 24mbps. I want around 10mbps and also mp4 not m2ts.
If it were me, would create a profile based on this made by SVRT, only lowering the bitrate, there will be losses due to recoding and reducing the bitrate, I think is less worse.

Hi,
I'm in a journey to record streets. Unfortunately this means that cars will be recorded and the license plates will be recorded as well. I currently am blurring them, but I cannot blur more than 2 objects. I use the FX track to mask and blur one license plate while also applying the blur effect to the video track so I can blur another license plate. However, I cannot blur another one since when I drop the blur effect it says it is already applied.
Is there any way I could add more blur effects or is this a software limitation?
As far as I know PD, only one way to blur more than two objects, do step by step, in the second rendering add 1 or 2 more blur.

So, I am using PowerDirecter 13, and while editing my computer will shut down. It doesn't seem to be a cooling issue.
my cpu while using will peak at 70 degrees F. video card 60 degrees F. the case inside 76.
Im running a amd fx-8120
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 803MHz ram
Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 motherboard
1024MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series video card
Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit os
PD13 actually consumes much CPU when this editing and more so when this rendering video.
I still think this PD13 very stable here.

I'm doing longer videos and I get this message when I try to render (produce)
"This file is being produced on a FAT32 file system, which has a 4 GB size limitation for a single file. This production was terminated because the file size limit was reached."
What should I do?
ezqs1
I think you are trying to save video file on an external drive, card or flash drive that is formatted with the FAT32, FAT32 old PC used should not be your case I think.
If so, then change to a folder on the hard drive of the PC.
It's just a guess, if not this, more details.

Personal effect is armazendado and is not deleted with PD uninstall.
Make sure you have the folder, in this place, whether it was manually deleted was lost.

Thank you. I'm aware it could be done that way, but that would mean placing 60 markers along the timeline (too time consuming, may as well drag the slider). One editing program I used previously used a hotkey (I think it was page up/page down) to jump through the timeline. Hoping there was one in PD that I hadn't found.
Had understood that it would be part of a project with more than one clip each, in this case someone has to tell the program where it starts.
To jump clip use the Ctrl + Arrow keys (right / left)

i was not clear...
I don't want to video mute the entire track (that is the check box on the left), I only want to video mute a clip that is on the track. If there is a menu item for that, I would love to know about it.
I'll look at the last suggestion as well.
Option: When I have a clip you just want the audio, I Unlink audio and video, delete the video, works for me.

OK, let me see if I can explain it this way. Suppose you have a 2 hour movie on your timeline, have your cursor at the beginning of the movie and are zoomed in on the timeline so that 2 minutes shows in the timeline. So that "full timeline" would be from 00:00:00:00 to 00:02:00:00. The next full timeline would be 2 minutes to 4 minutes, etc. In other words, a "full timeline" would be worth 2 minutes of video. What I would like to do is quickly jump in 2 minute segments without having to use the slider at the bottom of the timeline. Make sense?
I checked here the shortcut keys and saw that you add tags to every part of your project, you can jump mark in brand using the Shift + arrow keys (left or right)
If it matters to you, I think it is worth adding tags in your project.
Click with right on the ruler, in the initial position of the part you want to select, Add Timeline Marker, type a name, number or not / OK.

I knew most I didn't make myself clear- my bad. Here's what I meant to convey. I would like to be able to see "a timeline full" - hit a key and see the next full timeline, hit a key and see the next full timeline, etc. on down the line to the end of the project without having to do that by dragging the slider at the bottom of the timeline-if that make sense. Being able to do that would enable me, for example, to examine a chunk of the timeline and quickly pick out bad sections.
I do not understand next timeline, it would not be next track.
If you have a project with many track, I only see the slider to the right upright.
If to zoom in [+ or -] on the timeline.
What I use:
Slider horizontally down the left side.
other:
Click, hold and drag the ruler above the timeline is very quick to get anywhere.
