I installed the Fashion Magazine Express Layer Pack using the Cyberlink Application Manager. Now, I do not know how to find that function in photo director. Could someone please explain to find and use this function? Thank you.
QuoteHave you tried the templates from the PD Template Zone.. The early ones were express projects that you can modify easily. The later ones are theme designer templates that may work well in what you are seeking. The author does accept donations if you like his work.
Thank you. Theme designer templates sound good. I am looking for them now in the DirectorZone. I see express templates but I do not see theme designer templates. The attachment is what I see. Can you please direct me to where to find them? Thank you.
Hello, all. Modeling photography is my hobby. In PowerDirector 365 I am creating music slideshow videos for my models. Examples of what I have done are in my DirectorZone video area:
I am writing because I have limited PD abilities -- I am not yet able to create original express templates. I have used up the express templates in DirectorZone that would apply to this kind of video.
I wonder if some of you with skills would be interested in creating original express templates I could use in photo slideshows presenting the models. If I use the your template, I can pay you a little, say $10, via PayPal. Also, in the video description I would be glad to credit you as the template designer.
Here are criteria for the templates:
- Approximately 55 seconds
- Placeholder for 8-10 photos
- Background music is copyright free and medium to slow tempo
- Original design and relatively complex in terms of backgrounds, overlays, particals, movement, transitions, etc. (the models want their videos not to look cookie-cutter)
Would any of you be interested? That would be awesome if some of you are!
Also, our Youtube channel ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCr0pMOEc5B3q4CIpdrZP3fg) is brand new as of yesterday! No views yet. If you like the videos, the models and I will be grateful if you would like and share them. Thank you!
QuoteWhen you use the Online youTube option, what is the default Profile Quality set to. Check to see if it is 640 x 480. Use the drop down arrow to change it to 4K. It does take time for the 4K video quality option to appear. Maybe many hours as SD video quality is created first, the HD later, and 4k last. My 4K videos sometimes are not available for many hours while the sd one appear soon after uploading. I have been uploading manually except for testing purposes.
Thank you! The default setting in PD 365 is 4K 3840 x 2160.
If I understand correctly, it may be that PD 365 has been sending the HD version to Youtube and they have just not shown up yet as HD? That would be great. I don't mind the delay, just so they eventually are available as HD. I will stand by and see if they show up as HD. Thank you again.
I am uploading videos I make in PD 365 using the Youtube online function. I produce them in 4K MPEG-4 4096 x 2160 30p (50Mbps), which I understand is high definition (HD). However, when they finish processing on Youtube, they are designated as SD (standard definition) and they are blurry. If I produce to my computer and upload to Youtube, they come out as HD (high definition).
I would like to post them to Youtube from PD 365 so they show up in my DirectorZone account for people to view.
Any ideas how to get them to produce directly to Youtube from inside PD 365 and get high definition on Yourtube? Thank you.
QuoteIf you're a subscriber, you can install the Graduation pack from the App Manager. I used several items when I made a video for my daughter last year. Here's a blurred out, more generic version:
I'm not sure how useful the actual project files will be as I used specific effects for the phone pics and video I shot, but you can download it from here. Make sure you install the Graduation pack first, otherwise PD won't know what to do with those timeline items.
If you don't have access to the Grad pack, it's ok for PD ignore them and you'll just have to make your own titles.
The music is made by forum member Eric Matyas and his website soundimage.org. Please attribute the music to him and/or make a donation to support his work if you'd like to use the same piece!
Hi, friends. I would like to make a slide show video using about 10 graduation photos. Would anyone be willing to share a project file that they have for a graduation slideshow video? Thank you!
I have PowerDirector 16 on my computer, and Express Projects work fine. Now I have upgraded to 365.
Problem 1: In 365 Express Projects have not populated. I have downloaded them again and they do not appear. How do I get Express Projects to populate in 365?
Problem 2: I thought maybe I do a workaround by opening an express project in PD16 and saving it and then opening it in 365. However, projects saved like that, when opened in 365, freeze up after a few seconds Media Source Error Code 3. Screenshot show the error message. Any ideas what that error means and how to fix it?
I edit videos comprised of many small clips. I frequently need to move around the timeline, zoom into clips, and add effects and transitions, crop, etc. Besides the zoom bar in the bottom left, which to click it takes me off my target, is there another way to zoom in on the clips in the timeline? I hoping for a keyboard or mouse sequence. Thank you.
QuoteI need to make motorsports videos with professional-looking (ESPN quality) titles, such as would be possible through NewBlueFX Titler 6. I see that PD16 is compatible with BewBllueFX Titler 1.5 which isn't powerful. Is PD16 compatible with NewBlueFX 6 or is there another program compatible with PD16 in which one can make completely professional-looking sports titles? Thank you.
Hello,
Have you checked the NewBlue website to read about? If not mentioned ask their support. Since I imagine this Titler 6 is a stand-alone soft you could prepare these titles outside PD16 and import them for usage? I use for PD14 Titler 4 and that works perfectly.
Ask NB also if you can download additional titles from http://www.fontspace.com/ (some are really professional looking) and use them in Titler 6?
Let know the community; that concerns all of us.
Success!

Hi, Alain II. Thank you for your response. I took your advice and asked NewBlue, and they advised me that, as you suggested, Titler 6 can be used as a stand alone program to produce titles which can be imported into PD16. Sounds like a winner! Again, thank you.
