Before you go further, perhaps the message is in error or the disc is. Try burniing the project to either an ISO file or Folder set. That would tell you if the project is OK.
You can the burn the BR from the ISO or folder using the trial version of Power2Go 11 or IMGBurn. There is no need to run your project back through the encoding.
Here is the information on Power2GO 11. Be careful with IMGBurn, it wants to add on some junk programs ut it works well and is free.

any deflicker plug in for powerdirector?
thank you
What have you tried in PD15 to solve the issue? Any possibility of uploading a short (5 seconds or so) segment of the video as an attchment showing the flicker?
Here are the add-ons available.

Hi I am really impressed with the PhD app functionality in regards to collage making it is quick and easy and produces good looking images. However, I can't see any information about such a system in the desktop application. I did see some tutorial videos, but these were basically where you put all the images into one file and then made the collage yourself. Didn't seem to be using a templates system at all. Is there any such functionality in the desktop program? Or should I save my money?
I thnk that all your questions will be answered by watching this recent Webinar (if you haven't). There is no real collage functionality in PhotoDirector as you envision it. There is an excellent (automatic) one in Power Director. Yes, you can use stills.
Here is the link to the Webinar.

Sorry, from your attached image, I can;t tell if you are just getting a black screen or not. What do you see in the Splash screen (as I showed)? I can;t tell if any of the themes you show are the NorthernLights.
|
|
A couple of quick (basic) questions; please answer.
1) Did you install the program to your system drive (usually C
2) Did you have your antivirus active. Sometimes antivirus will prevent program from being registered properly)
3) Did you reboot your computer after the install?
4) Are you trying to run the program on a network server?
5) Does your computer meet the minimum requirements for the program. A dxdiag.exe text file added to your reply will help.
6) Boxed or downloaded version?
5) Are you sure that the add-ons were not intalled properly. Did you look at all the "rooms" -especially the transitions, and titles?
|
|
Yep, but when I clicked on it, it loaded to the PowerDVD home page. How about a screen shot of what you see. Here is mine.

Wrong part of the foums. You posted in the PowerDVD part (player). You need to repost in the PowerDirector forum (correct version).
Delete the text of this post and change the title to nevermind or similar.
Also the forum is having issues. Do not use any text add-ons.
|
|
Please close this thread and add it to the PowerDirector (version) thread. You posted in the "player" program.
Please add the dxdiag file from your computer so we can see what you are working with. Instructions and more information here (link).

Its link is downloading another theme.
Please more information. I just downloaded the Northern Lights theme from the Moovie Live site and got the right one.

Have you looked in the "Particle Room" for something close? Many of these are able to be modified if you need to.
Also look at the "Director's Zone" there may be something there that you can use.
(Wish I could type better - sorry for typos)

I'm new to this program which is Phd 8-64 bit. I'm creating a slide show with about 65 pictures and want to add music at 8 seconds per picture. The only default music available are 5 selections in the application. I want to add my own mp3s from cds and from I Tunes music that I bought. Phd8 doesn't recognize the mp3s that I want to use. Am I using the wrong type of music files? If so what kind of music file will this program accept? My computer has the Windows 10 home edition FYI.
You may not be able to add the iTunes music depending on your type of purchase.
I just tried a short slide show with a mp3 audio file and it worked OK. Please tell us more about the mp3 files via properties. The bit rate is important.

I recently upgraded to PD16, but now when adding a music track, I no longer have the ability to add a keyframe to the sound track, or adjust volume per keyframe with the mouse cursor. Am I missing something here? Please advise. Thanks!
Cyberlink made several major changes in PD16 audio functions. It doesn't work the same as PD15. I'm trying to find a good tutorial on it.
Also look at audio ducking if that is what you are after (relative volume of several audio tracks).

Hi all,
Today I wanted to go to Directorzone from PowerDirector 16 for the first time, but I can't find the link? It's not visible in the top right corner of the PD window?
I can and have logged in via the preferences dialogue, but there's no visible 'Hello Frank' visible?
Of course I can just browse to it, but it used to be accessible via the main program window in PD 15. Is this a bug or how?
regards, Frank
Little things mean a lot. Once you set the program preferences to automatically log you in to Director Zone, go to to: Files then Import then in the drop down , Import Sound Clips from Director's Zome , you will be taken to Director's zone where you can browse to all the temploates. Look across the top for "Templates"
It just seems to be more complex than it needed to be.

Perhaps Power Directro is not suited for your need. Do you have Power Point or even PhotoDirector?

jonobugs -- Your point? Be clear so we can understand your motives.
I guess it pays to be a long term customer !
For example : Many car companies give discounts for people upgrading from an earlier model year. It is not unuaual.

Ron, Did you put in a request to Cyberlink Tech Service. As you know, this is a users group so we have no control over what bugs are fixed when.

The forums are acting up on my computer.
I get the same as you with mpg files. When you add the second file, just click on the audio track and the wave form shows up -- at least for me.
Did yiu install the program with your anti-virus on (bad idea). Sometimes they won't let itens being added toi the .dll library. Were you ever able to register the product? Remember that it keeps your key on your registered products in case you ever need it.

Sorry gave you wrong information.
It looks like it is not integrated into the program but run as a standalone (guess). Install it where you want (Windows Music folder) and, if yoiu want the sound, add it just as if you would any audio file (guess).
I checked the Cyberlink site and the "Boom" site and could find nothing aboput it.

There are no rude replies; only rude questions !
Please try opening that zip file. It should open and install the sound effects in the right location provided that you installed the program into your system drive.
Let us know if it doesn't.

Since I upgraded to PowerDirector 16, the audio track does not display the wave line most of the time. This is crucial to my editing, and I have had to revert to PD 15 to get any work done.
Either fix this or give me my money back. The software is useless to me without all it's functions.
Cyberlink has made several changes to the audio part of PowerDirecctor 16; not all of them convient.
The ability to show the wav file is ion the General Preferences. Did you read the help files? Do you see the audio line and is it near the middle of the audio track? Do you hear it? All files or only certain ones?
Also the ability to change the volume with the little dots no longer works; you have to go to the audio room.
Also look at audio ducking.
NOW, that is all I can suggest due to the lack of information you provided. See some of the important information in the body of this reply.

Some of the contents (transitions, titles, etc.) from the earlier version are normally added to the contents of newer versions during installation. If you remove them before that, they will not be available in PD 16.
