But did you install all the updates for Windows 10? Some of those updates caused problems.
Did you install anyhtiung else? Did you move the folders or pictures away from the system drive?

Longedge is still correct. It can't be done in PowerDirector 16 either.

There is a screen capture feature in PowerDirector but that is not what you want.
Download from YouTube is not illegal unless it is restricted by the poster or because of some YouTube restrictions.
As I posted, I tried to download some of my own videos and it did not work.
Since you raised the issue, (you and I both have other ways of downloading files) I would suggest that you contact Tech Support.

That's a question that can't be answered by anyone but you !  That's like asking if you should upgrade you F150 to a newer model year.
Did you watch the last Webnar (it is available here) ? That was a pretty good introduction to both PD16 and PhotoDirector 9. For me, the extras related to 360 video was enough to convince me that 16 and 9 were worth the upgrade. Let us know what you thought about the Webinar.
I tried and didn't like the video collage because that is somehting I would not normally do.
Again, is it worth it? Depends on how you are going to use it.

Is this a purchased copy of the program or an OEM (came with a piece of hardware) or a trial version? If a purchased version, what level?
Add a few images to the timeline and take a screen grab of the timeline and the area above the timeline. Post the screen shot as an attachment.

Go here and look at what is included in your version.
Go here to see descriptions of some of the design packs that MAY be included.
Go here to see discussion of some of the thrid party programs that MAY be included.
You would have to sort through the information to decide which you have and what they do.
In my opinion and expecting that you have a lot of system hard drive space, install them all. If you are worried about hard drive space, you may have issues when you are crewating projects.
What you NEED to install depends on what you want to do and how many features you want in your finished videos.
In summary, you don;t need to install any of them to have the program work. The extras are bells and whistles.
Make sure you save the entire downloaded files for future reinstallation.

William, this is a users forum. The few Cyberlink moderators that visit don't have that type of information and would have to justify developing it.
You will be much more productive if you would submit the request directly to Cyberlink Technical Support. If others are asking, then you might tip the scales to justify the development.
By the way, have you looked at AAudio Director 8. "Restore" is one of the main functions in the menu. I may have misunderstood you comment regarding the restore function. Please explain.

Did you notice the trquest for lens correction profile on that page? (see attacxhment).
Also creating a new lens profile can be up to the user (YOU) is sort of difficult. Uploading it to the Director's Zone is easy but does take some time.
You can do the lens corrections manually.

1) Don't use a network hard drive. The program is not designed for it.
2) I assumed that it was/is video that you took. If not where did you get it? What format?
3) Does loose parts mean blanks in the story boards ?
What else do you have running when you are encoding the video. If you are using a network drive or even a external hard drive, your antivirus may be taking attention away from the encoding to run the scans. Turn it off for a short time to make sure this is not the problem.

Are you loaidng the video from a memory card or thumbdrive that is formatted for FAT?
What did you use to take the video and how did you trnasfer it to your computer?
If you have the video in the timeline and switch to story board, do you see any black or blank spaces?

I don't think that V13 can output H265 properly. It can accept them. See attached:

Before you go further, perhaps the message is in error or the disc is. Try burniing the project to either an ISO file or Folder set. That would tell you if the project is OK.
You can the burn the BR from the ISO or folder using the trial version of Power2Go 11 or IMGBurn. There is no need to run your project back through the encoding.
Here is the information on Power2GO 11. Be careful with IMGBurn, it wants to add on some junk programs ut it works well and is free.
