50_Boom Download
[Post New]
Greetings. With my PD16 downloads came '50_BOOM_Library_SFX.zip' - free sound effects. This is all very well, but where the heck do I sticke them? No rude replies please!

No information comes with it/them as to how to install or move these files from your Downloads folder into... wherever. I have looked at the Cyberlink installtion folders (plural, as there are at least 4 of them scattered aout the HD!) but can't find anything relating to sounds or sound fx.

Thanks.

There are no rude replies; only rude questions ! wink

Please try opening that zip file. It should open and install the sound effects in the right location provided that you installed the program into your system drive.

Let us know if it doesn't. .

It doesn't have an installation exe. Just a bunch of folders with sound bites.

What location should it go into? .

Sorry gave you wrong information.

It looks like it is not integrated into the program but run as a standalone (guess). Install it where you want (Windows Music folder) and, if yoiu want the sound, add it just as if you would any audio file (guess).

I checked the Cyberlink site and the "Boom" site and could find nothing aboput it. .

That'll work. I made a CL folder in My Music. .

Hi SteveK.
Thank you for your time and trouble in replying. You too Myk.
Alright, I shall install all the files in my Music folder.
I had to load a few things from there in v.12 I was using as I found Cyberlink to be a tad annoying, insomuch as it gives you a few "Free" things, but nothing really useful. Usually the free stuff is rather obscure for the majority of people, including Titles and Sound Tracks. A deliberate ploy to squeeze more money from us.
Regards.
