What about simply storing everything from your C drive to your external HDD like copying and pasting everything. Will that work?
The 3 missing files might have a different resolution or you might have changed something in your settings when you capture it. This way, Power Director might have separated it to the other files.
Is it possible for you to use the empty track so it can be removed on your track list?
Where did you play the video after burning it? Did you use a Windows Media Player with it?
What is an authoring progress section? Is there a way to disable it? Checking all the options set before you burn a DVD would be a great move.
Is that the 3GB GPU? I guess it will work with Power DVD 12
Try to install everything in your driver installer disc. You may have not installed your audio driver properly.
Try to set the options to default and see if that will change back to normal.
Have you tried using your camera on other software like IM clients and see if it will work on it fine? The problem may not be coming YouCam itself.
Try to open a support ticket with your product code and other information they may require of your purchase.
Do you have the latest updates and addons for this software? Since you have just changed to 64bit, the product might only be compatible to 32bit.
Your fun effect might be from the older or newer version of YouCam, that is why it doesn't work well with your current version.
Try to scan your system and clean up for any possible threats, then install the YouCam software again.
I agree. They are still having problems with their latest product versions on Windows 7 and even on older version of Windows. Maybe we should try to expect it after a few months.
What is the exact steps you did that made you get this problem?
Same problem. I am just thinking if the version 10 of Power Director is still in beta state and still need to give another try?
