youcam 3.5 effects does not work

i got youcam 3.5 preinstalled on my hp pavilion and it says "your current version of youcam does not support fun effects". my uncle has youcam 2.0 and it has fun effects and avatars so how come a newer version does not have fun effects? boo hoo

your Version is OEM version that is customized on OEM request.

Your fun effect might be from the older or newer version of YouCam, that is why it doesn't work well with your current version.
